Sunset River Cottage is a fully furnished waterfront studio cottage located directly on the St. Johns River in Georgetown, Florida. The cottage sleeps up to 4 guests and is ideal for couples, small families, and boating or fishing enthusiasts.

This is a pet-free property. No pets are allowed.

Perfect for us

This was our first visit to this little gem and looking forward to a return stay. My husband enjoyed reeling in the fish. I loved the scenery and quiet time to read. A lovely place to unwind. The manager was helpful and also Don and Brenda were great.

Perfect spot on the St Johns River.

A great location on the northern end of Lake George. STUNNING sunsets! A short boat ride to 2 fun springs and the Ocklawaha River. The covered boat lift was fantastic! Our boat has an 8' 6" beam and I'd say that's the MAX width for the lift. We didn't try to lift the boat, as we didn't want to damage anything, so we just tied off under the covering and enjoyed. REALLY nice to just untie and head out for a day of fun.

Overall good!

We had a good time overall. It was difficult getting boat in and out of property. If boat is 20 ft I would not recommend pulling it to house. There is nowhere to turn around. There are boat ramps close with trailer storage, though.

Wonderful property try to rent it long-term. Beware of the owners they promise one thing and then do another. I don't know if they can't communicate between each other or not. Makes me wary of people like this. The property is great and well maintained though it's just the owners, I have a problem with

Great little place to relax and do some fishing

Lovely cottage. Clean with great amenities and all the comforts of home. Super nice folks who live in the surrounding homes as well.
