Overall, we had a very good time staying at the Royal Hawaiian-royal KUHIO. The unit had the basic necessities, I did notify management of roaches the first few days. There was some bug spray that I used to help. We only use the kitchen one time and I use the dishwasher once, the location is very central to everything. It was a very reasonable price we were on the 15th floor and our car was parked on the fifth floor of the parking garage if you don’t mind going up and down and getting into your car every day on the fifth floor, then you’ll be OK… overall we had a very nice stay at the complex. The security staff does not work for VRBO… so they were not very friendly a few times. But we managed to figure out any kind of questions that we had…

Night Life Baby

We enjoyed our stay at the Royal Kuhio.It was an accurate description to say it was “In the Heart of Waikiki”. In the middle of all the hustle and bustle day and night. The nights could get a bit loud and last till after midnight.Our room was equipped with everything we needed and served it’s purpose.

The property had everything we needed from utensils, to cookware, to a tv, to a coffee maker, fridge, freezer, great balcony view as well and it’s walking distance to Waikīkī beach. However the reason I gave under 5 stars for a few was the fact that the bath tub was clogged when we first got there and the wifi was very inconsistent and slow. Other than that it was everything we needed.

Nice Location- Clean Studio

Nice Clean Studio within walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. Included parking space is a bonus. After finding keys to get in (Need better description of where to get them at the entrance)- getting to the room and around the area was easy. Checkout was no issue as well. Room was clean and furnished with newer furnishings. Note- Similar to just about everywhere else in Waikiki, recommend bringing earplugs. There is a lot of street noise that echoes into the rooms, and it seems like trash pickup is 4 days a week at between 4-5 AM. Would definitely stay again. Great value for the money.

Great location. Place was nice and more spacious than what we thought for the three of us (mom and 2 teenagers). As others noted, there were bugs (in the dishwasher and kitchen cabinets). They did have someone coming to address the bugs while we were staying there so we had to make sure we were out of the unit for several hours. Free parking was a bonus.
