CHARMING, BUT LACKING PROMISED ITEMS AND COMFORT
Newly refurbished; clean; cute bungalow; two bedrooms-one office; quaint suburban area, great location!
Furniture was very uncomfortable; low profile, almost miniature in scale, our group was unable to get comfortable gathering in sitting area.
Promised shampoo, conditioner, soap, fresh towels, blow dryer in each bathroom; no soap, shampoo, or conditioner in either; blow dryer in one.
Had to go out and purchase soap, shampoo, and conditioner.
Towels and pillowcases smelled like they were washed with Vicks VapoRub; left a residual smell on body throughout the day; made it difficult to sleep due to the smell. Bath towels were small in size, too small for all four adults
The pillows did not feel like normal pillows and were uncomfortably thin; mattresses were unsupportive and uncomfortable as well.
Front doorknob - loose; toilet roll holder loose, tilted and installed only few inches off ground, very low in master; garage under construction; attic light left on, with attic door lid in garage ceiling left slightly open.
Master bathroom, no niches to hold soap and shampoo in shower; had to store shampoo and conditioner on the floor; eventually stored the soap on the top of the insert molded shower insert
Perhaps the most frustrating; when we reached out to the property management team; the response was defensive, i.e., “the cleaning crew always leaves soap, it's there.” No apology, no support.
