Your Center Hill Lake adventure begins at this cozy, thoughtful 2-bedroom cottage. With a fantastic lake view, Dogwood Place is the ideal spot to call home base while you're visiting the area, we hope you enjoy your stay.

Dogwood place is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac with an amazing view of the Big Hurricane Creek branch of Center Hill Lake.

The cute front porch is inviting you to come on in the house or hang out in the swings and enjoy the view. To the left of the porch is a gas grill, (so bring your favorite food to grill), a table for two with a fantastic view, and a double rocker.

The living room is on the left and features two, comfy oversized, power recliner sofas and a 50 inch smart TV.

The kitchen is on the right and has everything you need to prepare and serve meals, snacks and make coffee. A Keurig and drip coffee maker are available for your use. Ground coffee for the drip coffee maker and filters are provided.

The screened porch is off the living room and has an awesome daybed perfect for napping, comfy rockers, a dining table for 4, mini fridge, and smart TV.

The bathroom is off the living room and has a washer and dryer. The shower system has jets, rain shower, and handheld options for showering.

The primary bedroom has wild wallpaper, vintage furniture, 2 luggage racks and a comfy king size bed with 100% cotton sheets.

The second bedroom has a whimsical theme with Scott Brothers wallpaper, comfy queen bed, two luggage racks, smart tv, and board games in the closet.

Location: Lakeview Mountain Estates is a rural neighborhood conveniently located 11 minutes from fabulous shopping, dining, and experiences in downtown Smithville, 4 minutes to Dollar General, 15 minutes to Hurricane, 19 minutes to Sligo, 24 minutes to Hidden Harbor, and 12 minutes to Tennessee Tech’s Appalachian Center for Craft.
In the neighborhood there is a mix of well kept homes and a few dilapidated ones. If this bothers you, then Dogwood Overlook is not the vacation rental for you. You cannot see any of the dilapidated homes from the screened porch or out any windows. While I consistently get 5 star reviews on other booking sites, the dilapidated structures have been mentioned.

Smoking of any kind is not permitted anywhere on the property.

Bringing a child? While your small family is welcome, please know the house is not childproofed, there is no high chair, crib etc.

Bringing a dog? Please know that any dog damage including but not limited to: scratch marks, holes in screens, chewed furniture, urine odors, excessive dirt or dog slobber, etc will incur additional charges separate from the pet fee to clean, repair or replace damaged item.
