My son's favorite Vrbo, thus far!

Lovely! Obviously professionally decorated. Everything we needed and then some. My son's girlfriend was very impressed. Beautiful property! Only improvements we would recommend is that the pillows were too large and very hard. While there was plenty of movies to watch, if there was a DVD player for the movies and music so generously provided, we couldn't find a way to play them.

Deborah, thank you so much for your kind words! I’m so glad you enjoyed your time in our home and I apologize for the missing DVD player. I’m not sure what happened to it but I will replace it as soon as possible. Please come visit us again!

So cozy

recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming and cozy spot, and it exceeded all of my expectations. As someone who travels frequently for work and has become quite the hotel snob, I can confidently say that this place checked all my boxes. My daughter and I were in town for a weekend wedding at a nearby resort, but after browsing through the available rooms, I knew there had to be a better option. I am so happy to have found this place. The pictures online, while lovely, simply do not do justice to the hominess warmth. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything needed if you prefer to cook and eat in. The cleanliness of the entire place was impeccable as well, making it easy for me to relax during our stay. The attention to detail in every corner of this place is truly remarkable. From the tasteful decor to the comfortable furnishings, it's evident that the owners have put a lot of thought and care into ensuring their guests have a comfortable experience. Thank you so much, Andi.

I’m a born-and-raised Georgia girl who loves good coffee, mountain drives, and keeping a place that feels like home—even if it’s just for the weekend. Hosting is my way of sharing the beauty of North Georgia with others and making sure your stay is comfortable, easy, and filled with the little touches that make travel fun. When I’m not working with my customers or juggling family life, you’ll usually find me out exploring Dawsonville or cheering on the Dawgs. I’m thrilled to welcome you and hope you enjoy the area as much as I do!

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

We chose this spot because it feels like the best of North Georgia—quiet, wooded, and peaceful, yet close enough to everything you actually want to do. The cottage sits in a beautiful little corner of Dawsonville where mornings are calm, evenings are quiet, and you’re only a short drive from Dahlonega, wineries, hiking trails, and all the charm our area is known for. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind, explore, and still make it back in time for sunset. We love it here and think you will too.

この宿泊施設の特徴

Ironworks Cottage stands out because it blends comfort, privacy, and a touch of thoughtful design in a way that just feels…easy. It’s tucked above our garage with its own private entrance, giving guests a cozy retreat that’s quiet, spotless, and intentionally put together. The setting feels like a peaceful hideaway, yet you’re still close to wineries, Dahlonega, hiking, and all the best parts of the North Georgia mountains. It’s the perfect home base—warm, practical, and a little bit charming—whether you’re here to explore or simply relax.
