Weekend Retreat

We loved this property! Our dogs loved the grounds. The beds were very comfortable. The home was spotless. Excellent communication with Teresa. Nothing negative about this home. We had a great time!

Weekend retreat

This was a great place to stay! The house fit 7 of us comfortably and we all had a great time and the location was fantastic for a weekend retreat.

Summer Trip

Property is great, plenty of room for entertainment and outdoor activities, amenities in the home were dated and despite the ice maker not working, the hot water not working on the first day and the showers not draining properly, we still made the most of the trip. The locate property manager was quick to answer all the questions and make the corrections. For boat owners / renters, there is no docking facilities at this location and unfortunately due to the low water elevations, many of the boat ramps are closed, however the rental property is located to many great parks for which you will have access to, have a drive by to see which one is open prior to loading up the boat and family.

Relax in Beautiful Hill Country

Having 4 acres to roam and not having neighbors right on top of you is very nice. The property is clean and orderly. It is close enough to Austin to do things in the metro and far enough away to be quiet and peaceful.

Not as advertised

We were contacted the morning of checkin as we were in route from out of state and informed the home was under construction. Supposedly the water softener had not been installed. When we arrived on site we found the house to be filthy dirty. Partial list of issues as follows: Some type of mouse, rat killer pellets on bathroom floor? Sink in bathroom taped off, unable to use. Electric switch plate in bathroom without cover. 2 towels for 4 people (until we dug around) Lots of floor dirt, especially behind couch and rails to sliders. Counter tops filthy toilet bowls covered with "splatters" Unable to open sliders without them breaking (rotting) Film on all windows, Very dirty glass patio table with cigarette butts in ashtray. Falsely advertised re: water activities, as gate to water access was chained off, “no trespassing” sign To be fair, the Owner refunded 50% of the rental fee. However, in hindsight that was not adequate for the condition of the house. I DO NOT recommend anyone rent this house.

Big yard in the hills of Austin

The property manager was very nice and detailed in their description of the property. The drive to get to the property is in the country. So you'll find deer in the yard during the early mornings. My dog enjoyed viewing them from the house. Also the property manager provided some nice treats that my dog enjoyed.

Beautiful property!

Family of 5, 3 teens (19, 16, 13) plus 2 large dogs stayed here over 4th of July week and truly enjoyed this beautiful property! Lake views is so nice. Tons of shade to play games in the evening. Teresa was a fantastic host who left special treats for us AND our dogs. She was very communicative when we needed. Pics do it Justice. Great family time! Passes provided to Bar K park and we spent time at the swimming area down at Arkansas Bend Park. She has lots of outdoor games (volleyball, checkers, giant jenga. Horseshoes, tetherball). We enjoyed our stay very much even in the 100 degree heat. Shade is so nice!

Hot time in Texas!

The house and property were just as pictured. Huge yard to play lots of games. Pantry so well stocked we did not need to bring as much as we did. Being Father's Day weekend, we should have reserved a pontoon boat ahead of time. But the local pool was great fun for the grandson. We played many of the games provided in the laundry area. Comfy beds, well stocked kitchen. and lots to do. Close to many great places to eat. Teresa was wonderful. She responded quickly and thoroughly to all questions. Many great recommendations. The details make the difference

We picked the property as a place for us to enjoy our anniversary with friends for a long weekend. The property is huge and really makes you feel relaxed and comfortable. Nice view of the lake where all bedrooms have a view. The deer were always around in the evening, and the fire pit is a great place to enjoy a drink with friends. Lots of room to park the cars and boat. What made it great was Theresa’s attention to detail and special touches. Would definitely recommend

Complete relaxation!!!

Relax and unwind in a beautiful park-like setting! It really doesn’t get better than this! And if you have pups they will absolutely love it here—complete with dog treats!

Overall this is great...

This was a great place, it was quiet for the most part. I do wish that we were able to get to the lake from the house but it's been hot and not a lot of rain keeps the lake low so that's nobody fault but the view of the lake was amazing. The property is really big and it has plenty of shade and plenty of outdoor games on site to setup and enjoy. Teresa was great about responding, answering questions, and offering her local insider advice. It has plenty of pots and pans, dishes...really everything you need, just show up and have a good time, with the exception of food and alcohol of course.

Beautiful view!

We spent the weekend celebrating our daughter’s birthday and Mother’s Day - we had a wonderful time! We walked in to find balloons, wine and a variety of treats to help us celebrate. Teresa went above and beyond to make our weekend memorable. The property is private and has a beautiful view. Perfect for a weekend get away!

Easter 2022 Gateaway

Teresa was so responsive and great in communication. She is a great host! Everything is as shown and described here. Only thing is to be aware of your surroundings for snakes. This is Texas so be very careful. We came across a rattle snake at the playground. Green a s the grass. Thank God my husband spotted the snake in time that was near my toddler. Everyone was safe except the dead snake.

Beautiful, relaxing retreat!

The house is charming and comfortable, the outdoor spaces are park-like and the live oak trees are extraordinary—a haven for people and dogs!!! The deck, the fire pit, the lovely lake view, and the quiet—you will love this place!

Amazing in every way!!!

Teresa was amazing and we will be back! Property was exactly what we were looking for! Lots of room and the outside is just amazing. Teresa leaves all these wonderful treats and really makes you feel like family when you arrive. 10 out of 10 we will be back again.

Great Property!

Great location for going to Arkansas Bend park to enjoy the lake, near wave runner/boat rentals, good restaurants. Spacious comfortable rooms and every room has a great view! So much property to enjoy outside family time. Very pet friendly, all in all great time and will be back!
