We booked for 5 nights and had an exceptional view from our balcony. The cleanliness was as advertised and much appreciated. The downside to this condo was a nonfunctioning dishwasher, garbage disposal and no hot water in the guest shower. It was obvious the dishwasher had not been used for a while. There was a foul odor that penetrated the condo after opening, and the top rack was missing. We sent 2 messages through VRBO and were assured the items would be fixed/replaced, but nothing was repaired or replaced. We did not have anything to wash dishes with so we used the makeup washcloth from the bathroom and left the last 2 days of dishes as we did not want to spend our vacation washing dishes, and we do not eat out. The front desk attendant came up and checked the shower, including the boiler on day 2. With the shower being the only place in the condo without hot water, it was obvious there was a plumbing issue. She said the dishwasher would be replaced on day 3, but it was not. We understand that it takes time to fix/replace items, but it does not negate the issue of paying for amenities that were not available. We thought by choosing a higher end condo, we would not have any issues.
We are requesting a partial refund as this condo was advertised as having a dishwasher and having hot water in the shower should be a reasonable expectation.
With those items fixed, a guest should give this place 5 stars.
