To ensure your privacy, our interaction is minimal. A Guest Contact may meet the primary renter upon arrival to verify their ID. Should you have any questions or need assistance during your stay, your Guest Contact will be available to help.

- Prior to your departure, please tidy up the villa by doing the following:
- Remove all perishable items
- Take out the trash
- Load and start the dishwasher
- Strip linens from all used beds
- Place all used linens and towels in a pile
- Please return furniture to the original place in the house
- Turn off all lights, electronics, and appliances
- Close and lock all windows and doors
- Additional fees will be imposed if the villa is found in an unsatisfactory condition, so please return it to the condition in which you found it.

- This property has a strict maximum occupancy of 8

Please note: A fifth bedroom is locked for owner storage and is not available for guest use.

Other Details to Note:
- Check-in/Check-out: Check-in is after 4:00pm. Check out is before 10:00am.
- ID Verification: The primary renter's ID will be verified by our Guest Contact upon arrival.
- Arrival Inspection: Please inform the Guest Contact of any problems or concerns upon arrival so we can address them immediately.
- Accessibility: Please be aware that the home has stairs and may present challenges for guests with limited mobility.
- Property Maintenance: Landscaping and pool service companies visit the property weekly. They may be on-site for a brief period during your stay.
- Pool Details: The pool is professionally cleaned each week. Due to surrounding trees, some natural debris may fall into the pool between cleanings. - - Please be cautious around the pool deck, as some pavers are not perfectly even. The interior finish of the pool is peeling due to age but is clean and perfectly safe for swimming.
- Check out Procedures: Prior to departure, please tidy up by removing perishable food, taking out the trash, loading and starting the dishwasher, stripping used beds, placing used linens and towels in a pile, returning furniture to its original position, turning off all lights and electronics, and locking all windows and doors. Additional fees may be imposed if the villa is left in an unsatisfactory condition.

Beautiful house

We had a great time at the house! It was beautiful and have plenty of space for everyone! Great location and property managers were extremely helpful. Highly recommend this rental.

Home away from home

Having stayed at Mason Villa in March, this was our return trip. We truly felt like we were returning home. We love it!

The host was very attentive, and when the problems occurred, he quickly tried to address them however, he was unable to because the air-conditioning was broken. The plumber came out and fixed the overflowing toilet. The property isn’t a state of disrepair and is very worn down. I would not recommend anyone stay here. The location is great and the management team is actually very attentive, but the property is falling apart.

You shut off the water supply to the pool pump, and the pump was running dry which resulted in replacing it. The toilet was clogged since you used excessive toilet paper and wipes and flushed it several times, according to the plumber. This resulted in flooding the bathroom. The AC unit was not cooling up to your standards while it was in the 50s with a cold front. The property has 2 brand new 5 ton AC units, but they can’t turn 8,000 sqft Villa into a fridge. The property looks exact and is identical to the pictures. You stayed 4 nights, 3 guests, 4 large bedroom suites, 6 bathrooms, yet all these problems surfaced during your last night. You demanded compensation immediately after your check out. Your request was denied, so you left this review. We did not charge you for any of the damages. Using reviews as extortion for “compensation” is just downright wrong.

We were so looking forward to this stay to celebrate our daughter's graduation from medical school. The owner was accommodating by letting us in 2 hours early, but we didn't realize that meant that the house would not be cleaned (he blamed it on our request to get in earlier). The main issue with this property is the safety - the house itself is quite literally falling apart. There are broken tiles and sunken in tiles on pool patio that were a severe tripping hazard (we had an 80-year grandmother with us). Two patio chairs were broken that caused one of our guests to fall over backwards. One portion of the screen over the patio was collapsing inward that was very concerning. There were also broken tiles around the grill. When reading the first night in the master bedroom, there were some termites flying around and landing on me and the bed - so the house has to be infested. Additionally, we had three guests trip over a raised portion of the fireplace. We are very disappointed with the conditions we stayed in. We are extremely concerned with the state of the house and the misrepresentation from when we booked this place on VRBO website. We are not looking for a refund, just want the owner to hopefully repair these issues and also for other potential guests to be aware of these hazards if they are booking this property before these conditions are repaired.

You have insisted on having early check in time. The property management advised you of the cleaning crew being there, but you insisted on early check in time anyway. Within 15 minutes of your checking in, you sent us a picture of a Coke can under one of the many beds. We apologized and assumed the cleaning crew overlooked that container under one of the beds as they were rushing. That does not mean the 8,000 sqft villa was not cleaned, or the linens and towels have not been replaced, or the kitchen not detailed, or the 6 bathrooms not cleaned. Regarding the uneven pavers on the pool deck. That is mentioned on VRBO site, and it is due to the large oak tree roots surrounding the area. Some, meaning a very few pavers of the entire pool 2,000 sqft deck, are uneven. We have advised you to be cautious. Regarding the damage you have caused to the pool furniture, this is the very first time we’re hearing about someone falling. The raised portion tiled area in front of the fireplace which is the width of the fireplace X 2 feet away from the fireplace is a fire code and a building department requirement when the house was built many decades ago. You are the very first guest who has ever complained about this very small and narrow area immediately in front of the fireplace. The property has been under contract for pest and termite control with Terminix and for the past 25 years. Congratulations to your daughter’s graduations from medical school.
