The Hipster House

Located in the heart of trendy Walkerville, this stylish home will be your haven after a busy day of whisky tasting or sampling the vegetarian lasagne at Vito’s Pizzeria. From the friendly neighbours to the very modern kitchen, I know you’re going to love my home as much as I do. If you’re a WFH person, there is a huge dedicated workspace with extremely fast wifi for all of your video calls. And I know you’ll sleep well on the new memory foam mattresses in each of the 3 bedrooms.
The property has 2 bathrooms. On the main floor, you'll find a spacious bathroom complete with a shower and tub combo, perfect for a relaxing soak or a quick rinse. In the second bathroom, you'll find a refreshing walk-in shower located in the basement.

This stay was wonderful and extremely cozy! The property was clean, tidy and comfortable. The kitchen and dining space was excellent. The front and back patios were great for spending time outside. I really enjoyed my stay here, i would definitely book again. The host was very accommodating and the check-in and check-out process was very smooth and easy!

The home was absolutely amazing. Beds were super clean and comfortable. Parking was definitely difficult, parking in the back could really only accommodate a small vehicle.

Good size, great location

We stayed here for the 4th of July weekend. The hosts were wonderful. The location was great, less than 15 minutes to everything we needed. Only 7 minutes from the riverfront area park where you can rent scooters, walk, fish, just enjoy the river and see Detroit. The house had plenty of room for our family of 5. There's street parking infront, never had any issues finding a spot infront of the house. Nice clean kitchen and bathrooms, living room and dining room had enough space for us to hang out and play cards as a family. Really enjoyed our time here.

Cute house in a great location.

Nice decor. Time consuming Bodem coffee maker. Tiny TV. Only comfortable seating for two. No dressers, or recycling. Hard to find parking.

Just like home in Windsor

My husband and I were at Masters swim Nationals in Windsor. It was so comforting to know that after we competed all day, we had a comfortable place to come back to rest up and re-energize for the next day's events. This was a super comfortable house, great layout, and we loved the front and back decks to hang out on depending on sun/shade/time of day. Parking was always available right in front of the house.

Great home for family vacation

We stayed at the Hipster House with our adult son for a few days and thoroughly enjoyed the home and the neighborhood! Within walking distance of several fun restaurants and shops, owner was very responsive and home was perfectly appointed for our stay. Will come back if we are in Windsor again!

What a Perfect Place to Stay

We were guests for 2 nights in Detroit for Concerts at Ford Field and couldn't have asked for better accommodations. Minutes to a parking area once clear of the tunnel and Customs on the USA side. Lottsa space to flake out, play cards, and Sunday Sports! Nice Kitchen to cook all our meals and stoke up for our concerts! Thanks Anthony and Jaqueline!!
