A terrible experience — I would not recommend this property at all.

We arrived on the 4th of July, and from the very beginning, things went wrong. The front gate was broken, which meant there was no security whatsoever. Additionally, the fence was damaged, allowing a clear view into the neighbor’s yard. There was no outdoor lighting, and when we raised this issue, the host brought us lights that were completely ineffective.The outdoor chairs were all broken, making it impossible to use the exterior space comfortably. And that was just the outside.Inside the house, the conditions were unacceptable. The water from the faucets was white and clearly unsafe to use. The washing machine was broken and filled with stagnant, foul-smelling water. The beds had insects, and there were cockroaches throughout the property.Additionally, the listing states that the house has five beds. However, the fifth bed is located in an attic space that is completely unsuitable and inhumane for someone to sleep in. It should not be considered a functional sleeping area.When we contacted the host to report these issues, instead of offering support or solutions, they responded with an aggressive and disrespectful attitude. The host told us to leave the property and showed no accountability for the unacceptable conditions we were experiencing.We are currently awaiting a refund for this extremely disappointing and uncomfortable stay. Based on our experience, I strongly advise others to avoid this property until serious improvements are made.

Thank you for your feedback. As shared in advance, the property had recent hurricane impact, and the fence was down. The washing machine inside was clearly stated not in use, but a functioning washer and dryer are provided outside. Guests cannot stay and then request a full refund; full refunds are only available for cancellations made before the stay.
