House Rules:
• Check-in time is after 4:00PM / Check-out time is 10:00AM
• This is a NON-SMOKING property (this includes vaping or the use of e-cigarettes)
• Pets are NOT PERMITTED in the home under any conditions
• We will not rent to anyone under 25 years old unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent
• MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY- The maximum occupancy is limited to ten (10) persons (this includes children/minors)
• EVENTS & PARTIES- This house may not be used for any kind of party or event (such as, but not limited to: weddings, receptions, birthday or anniversary parties, family reunions, etc.). An event is considered ANY gathering of 12 or more people (including the guests of the house).
• PARKING- This house only has room to park two (2) vehicles. Do not block any neighboring driveways, sidewalks or accesses. Only park in the designated parking spots directly in front of the home. Parking in front of other homes or blocking access may result in the vehicle being towed at your expense.
• WE LOVE THE SAND, but PLEASE LEAVE IT ON THE BEACH. Always remove your shoes and clean your feet prior to entering the home or the pool.
• WATER SAFETY- Swim at your own risk as there is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. Please read all posted signs and keep children supervised at all times. This home has a small private dip pool that is three feet (3’) deep, NO JUMPING or DIVING ALLOWED. At the beach there is always a risk of RIP CURRENTS, read all safety material before entering the water and remember- SWIM PARALLEL TO THE SHORELINE if you ever encounter a rip current.
• MARINE ANIMALS & WILDLIFE- Please be courteous and respectful of our wildlife. DO NOT TOUCH OR DISTURB SEA TURTLES OR THEIR NESTS. The Town of Melbourne Beach as well as Brevard County has a Lights out for Sea Turtles ordinance effective May 1 – October 31 that requires all lights visible from the beach to be either covered, blocked, moved, or turned off after 9 p.m. This includes flashlights, cellphones, and red lights.
• PRIVATE AREAS- please be respectful of the private closets that are used for owner’s supplies and maintenance items. They are locked and should not be tampered with. Any unauthorized access to these areas may be subject to fine and charges for damage or missing items.
