Very friendly and down to earth owners who met with us and helped us with knowledge about the area and were as nice as anyone could be to make sure we enjoyed our visit. The area is quiet and peaceful and about 10 to 15 minutes from a good grocery store and several fast food places in the nearby town of Marshall. I’m not saying everything the owners did for us because they may not be able to do that for everyone, but let’s just say you won’t find any nicer folks than them.

2024 Total Solar Eclipse

We enjoyed open field view of beautiful sunsets and sunrise and the Eclipse. The host was easy to contact and lovely to work with. We had everything we needed and had no need to leave the property. The quilts, blankets and bedding were all very good. The Wif-Fi was good. It was a short 4 mile drive to the Buffalo River although we did not get to kayak this trip. We have promised daughter we will return.

Booked last minute for the view and a quick exploration of the Buffalo River. Stayed down river for floating water mid-summer. River was ridiculously close to this property! Outfitters just 10 min down the road as well, but kayaks were available if you bring a hitch. Do note house is adjacent to a lot of RV slots, which did limit privacy when occupied, but the view and sunsets were remarkable. Pregamed every day with coffee overlooking that view listening to birds and distant cattle. Beds were exceptionally comfortable. Host wasn’t the best communicator, but really the property was nicely decorated, well equipped and a comfy home base.

The property was perfect very clean and adequate space. The view and the sunset was beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. Very close to the river and outfitter Crocketts. Will be returning.

Everything was perfect. We appreciated all the thoughtful touches. The house was even nicer and bigger than it appeared in the pics. Loved the sun room and the beautiful view. Thank you for your hospitality. We would definitely stay here again.
