Liberty Belle: Budget friendly near Hocking River

Welcome to Liberty Belle: This budget-conscious and pet-friendly space can sleep 4 adults/children and is located on a trail to the Hocking River; just a short drive to all Hocking Hills parks and activities. It's located on the same lane/land with another 4 person cabin (Buckeye Loft) and an 8 person lodge (Trails End Lodge). Often these three spaces are booked all together for family reunions (hosting up to 16 guests).

Minimum booking age is 21.

2 dogs (under 40 lbs each) are welcome for additional fees.

Base rates are for 2 guests. Liberty Belle can support up to 4 guests for an additional $25/person/night rate.

Highlights: Outdoor fire pit, hot tub, wifi, cable, and propane grill.

Enjoy the hot tub overlooking the scenic fishing pond or bring your own registered canoe or kayaks to launch on the river. Mowed trails/paths to enjoy walking the property to get down to the pond and/or the river.

No parties/events permitted.

It was a beautiful place the only down put was the bed, it was quite a bit uncomfortable but other than that I absolutely loved the place.

Great clean place to stay for Hocking Hills State Park. It sits close to restaurants and the state park. We totally enjoyed this peaceful & relaxing authentic log cabin. It’s a nice place for a romantic getaway. Very rustic inside and out yet had the amenities needed for a very enjoyable stay. There’s a high quality charcoal grill and a very nice hot tub to enjoy on the back deck/porch. The deck was so relaxing especially in the morning with a cup of coffee as the sun poked through the trees. I’d definitely recommend staying here if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds but close enough to the restaurants and parks.

Our first night we contacted maintenance regarding cockroaches. It was late. He said he had one cancellation he could move us to , however because of our service dogs he couldn’t move us there. Due to vacation plans we couldn't work out getting moved for the second night. And quite frankly the damage was done. We are gonna have to quarantine all of our stuff, luggage, dog beds, etc., to prevent bugs and eggs from contaminating our home. We were left with no options as we were 4 hours from home with 2 dogs. Needless to say very disappointed. The cabin was cute you may want to get a mattress topper for the bed and more comfortable pillows as the bed was hard as a rock and the pillows were totally flat. We had brought our own pillows, but left them in the truck due to the bug issue. The whole situation left us extremely stressed out, with our hands tied behind our backs.We will most likely not be returning.

The bed is like a trmpoline. Very uncomfortable, bouncy and sinks. We had to sleep on the futon the second night. Also no curtain over the front door. Anyone walking to the parking lot can see in. Also no curtian on side window, the cabin next door can walk by and see right in. Everything else was great..perfect location and clean! Thank you

You probably won't find folks who enjoy their jobs more than we do. Living in the Hocking Hills area ourselves, we are happy to help navigate things to do and recommendations for you.
