Summer Breeze, located on the Chesapeake Bay in the fishing village of Reedville, is our brand new construction (June 2023) 3 Bedroom, 2 Bath home with waterfront shoreline on a cove off the Chesapeake Bay. The neighborhood beach, which is for residents and guests renting, fronts directly on the Chesapeake and is just a few lots, and a short walk, down the street. The gentle Bay beach with soft sand, gentle waves, and gently sloping bottom are perfect for fun and play for the whole family!

Summer Breeze was built in 2023 to provide a clean, comfortable, vacation home for your family. It is brand new, so come enjoy our new space! Located in a quiet neighborhood of around 40 homes, we welcome families looking to enjoy our home, the beaches, the water, and all that Reedville and the surrounding area have to offer. Summer Breeze can sleep up to six with two bedrooms with king beds and a third bedroom with two single beds. Enjoy crazy fast broadband wifi and TV throughout the home and property while enjoying the open family room/kitchen/dining area or on the peaceful rear screened in porch overlooking the water. The primary bedroom suite offers a king bed, and a full bath with large shower and dual vanities and private toilet room. The second bedroom with king bed and the third bedroom with two single beds share a full bathroom off the hall.
Summer Breeze is located on a mostly wooded 1.3 acre waterfront lot, with ample lawn space for enjoying family outdoor activities. The neighborhood has approximately 40 homes and a private beach for guests that fronts directly on the 30 mile wide Chesapeake Bay. The property itself has roughly 250 ft of shoreline with a small portion being a sand beach that is perfect for launching the canoe or other watercraft you might bring. The pier with 200SF platform at the end give ample space for tying your watercraft, fishing, crabbing, or just chilling out with a cold beverage. Summer Breeze is located just over 1 mile from Main Street Reedville, and the Independence Day parade (held annually check the Reedville Fisherman's Museum calendar for date)

The entire home and property are available to the renter. Our kind neighbors are friendly, so please be respectful by keeping noise to a reasonable level. Absolutely no parties, as we will be quickly notified.

At Summer Breeze feel free to use our 3 person canoe with paddles and life vests provided, to explore the 8 acre cove/tidal pond and access the Chesapeake Bay which is across the sand bar.

Also, the neighborhood has a free boat ramp/launch for guests, so bring your own jet skis and smaller boats. Your own watercraft that have a draft of less than 12 inches can typically cross the sandbar that stretches across the entrance from the Chesapeake to the cove. Since the Chesapeake is tidal, there will be deeper water at high tides, so be sure to check the tide information online to use your watercraft to their fullest. The cove is 100% no-wake zone for watercraft. There are other free boat ramps/launches in within a few miles to get your larger trailerable boats on and off the water.

From the neighborhood beach you can see beautiful sunrises while you gaze at the horizon and Smith Point Lighthouse in the distance a few miles offshore.
