We had a nice stay at the house. It's about 15 minutes to Killington - park at the Skyeship Gondola. About 15 minutes into Rutland for restaurants. Restaurants are busy at Killington - go to Rutland for dinner. Nice house and easy! Thanks!

Cozy, immaculate, perfect getaway for activities around Rutland or just staying in to unwind. We needed a "home base" for family members with our brother in the local hospital there, and Mendon Haven couldn't have worked out any better. Great layout with lots of thoughtfull features. The host provides everything needed to settle in comfortably, and checked on us regularly to make sure things were going well. Check in and check out were clear and simple. It became home as soon as we walked through the door, and we would love to have the privilege of staying there again someday. Thank you!

Fabulous stay at this country house

We stayed here while attending a wedding nearby at the Mountain Top Resort, and were very pleased with the accommodations and our experience at the house. More spacious than I realized in looking at the listing photos. Well stocked kitchen, and comfortable and large family gathering areas, with a playroom for the kids in the basement. Beautiful surroundings with the trees changing color all around us.

VT Ski Trip

We recently stayed at Mendon Haven for a long weekend. The house was comfortable, the check-in process was a breeze and owner Warren was very responsive throughout. As a new listing, Warren was also receptive to recommendations we had for how the renter experience could be improved in the future. Though not immediately on the Access Rd., Mendon Haven is an easy and short drive to Pico or Killington Mountains as well as downtown Rutland. Would stay here again.

Gorgeous Killington Ski House

We stayed at Warren’s house for our Killington ski trip over the President Day weekend. The location is perfect, about 15-20min to the mountain. The house is gorgeous, newly renovated, modern, spacious with tasteful decor. The kitchen is equipped with almost everything, lots of pots and pans, plates and bowls , salt and pepper, coffee and tea, napkins etc. All of the drawers are labeled, very thoughtful of Warren! Bathrooms have shampoo and conditioner, soap and towels. The house is super clean and comfortable, Warren also prepared disposable slippers! Warren gave detailed instructions on checkin and checkout, excellent communication! We had great stay, thank you Warren for your welcoming hosting!

New Years Ski Getaway

What a relaxing time we had at “Mendon House” A last minute plan to bring our boys skiing in Killington was picture perfect with our stay at this cozy, warm and inviting home supplied with everything you need to feel at home. We spent 3 nights enjoying our families, skiing, playing games, watching TV and eating in. The sleeping accommodations were perfect and comfortable. So much room to relax. Enjoyed watching football and the ball drop by the cozy fireplace and the kids played games all night. Maybe 15 minutes to the slopes tops and close to many restaurants, even to “Chipotle” the fan favorite for our hockey players! Warren and his family thought of everything when equipping this cozy home and was available promptly for any and all questions. We will definitely be back! Thanks Warren!
