This property went above and beyond our expectations! The owner was extremely helpful and informative. The owner communicated well and gave us some amazing tips for the area. The condo was one of the cleanest and well maintained places I’ve ever vacationed and every small detail was not overlooked. From the beautiful decor to the extremely well stocked kitchen everything was exceptional! The resort grounds were beautiful and the staff was amazing.I would highly recommend when visiting San Pedro you reach out to stay at this rental.

Beautiful Getaway

We had a wonderful time! The resort is located close enough to restaurants but far enough outside of the hectic downtown area. Everyone is friendly and helpful, great food & drinks at the pool. Easy to grab a lounge chair or just sit on our balcony. Stocked with anything you may need! It was the perfect space for our family of 4 (2 teenage boys 16 & 17).

A slice of Island living

The owners have anticipated everything you may need or want in their beautiful home. Top of the line accommodations. We sipped our morning coffee as we watched the sun rise over the ocean. The Grande Caribe Resort is very well maintained, staff is friendly and helpful with any requests. Looking forward to returning again.

Great Condo

Top-notch property. Mariah has thought of everything you might need at the condo for a fantastic stay. Top-of-the-line products adorn the kitchen. It felt like "home." The view from the lanai is spectacular. if VRBO had a ten-star rating, this unit would earn it.

This condo is beautiful and so clean! I would even say spotless. The views are gorgeous and the location is convenient to restaurants and activities. Mariah was very helpful with recommendations and checking to make sure our stay was comfortable. We were so comfortable, we opted to stay in one night. Don’t miss out on Secret Beach and take a boat to Caulker Caye. Great restaurants on the property, delicious drinks and a very convenient grocery store on property. Highly recommend!!

Grand Caribe

Mariah and the Grand Caribe team were excellent, very helpful and quite accommodating. Upon arrival you are greeted by the staff and a welcome cocktail awaits you. Upon entering the condo, the ocean front view is breath taking. It is a "Wow" moment. The pool staff truly make sure you have everything you need. Overall, our stay was excellent and truly a 5 star experience.

Beautiful accommodations!!

We loved our stay and pleasantly surprised there was complimentary laundry and daily housekeeping! Beautiful balcony views, 15 minutes from the water taxi and close to many restaurants! Everyone was so nice and welcoming! We arrived by water taxi and had a Grande Caribe employee waiting to shuttle us to the resort, we rented a golf cart from Grande Caribe, check in and check out was a complete breeze!! Definitely recommend!! Also, very kid friendly! We brought our 5 and 6 year olds!!! ❤️

Lovely Condo, Great Owner, outstanding staff!

Beautiful resort with outstanding grounds, pool, location restaurant and location (a short golf cart ride from town, recommend you rent a golf cart if you are there for a week or more) The condo was stunning, VERY roomy (we were two couples) with top notch accoutrements! As a long-time VRBO client who has rented many NICE properties, this was the best with a kitchen outfitted for the most discerning chef! However- construction in the unit above us was VERY noisy, from sun-up to after sun down.

Amazing

We can’t say enough how much we enjoyed our stay. Mariah is incredible. She is very responsive and great recommendations. The condo was perfect. Clean, well furnished and fully stocked. The people are all very nice welcoming. We enjoyed the pools, swim up bar and pier for dive trips. Very convenient and great service. The best part of our trip was our time with Mariah’s recommendation - Marcus at Mar Coast Belize. We had amazing dives and were able to experience things we never would’ve had the opportunity to without him. Thank you for an incredible stay. We can’t wait to return.

AMAZING PROPERTY!!

We had the most amazing time in Belize with our family of 4. This condo has amazing views, and is stocked with everything you could imagine. The staff at Grande Caribe always went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. We especially appreciated the laundry service and cleaning each day, which is often not an option in condos. We traveled with two teenagers so having the extra bathrooms and second bedroom was perfect. Everyone had more than enough space during our stay! The information guide that Mariah provided was so helpful and we referred to it often for the best places to eat and explore. We used the concierge service to book an excursion to the main land and another for parasailing and a private snorkel tour. All were handled as expected and we really enjoyed the Tuff E Nuff tours. Highly recommend this beautifully appointed condo! Looking forward to our return!

We can’t wait to come back!

This was our first trip to Belize and this condo was AMAZING! We made use of the oceanfront balcony with dining table and comfortable lounge chairs, first thing in the morning, late afternoons before heading to dinner, and, again at night. Mariah is the perfect hostess. She was great to correspond with. The Grand Caribe Resort was so nice to be a part of. The food was great. The poolside drinks were great. The staff are friendly and attentive and we were well taken care of. The resort arranged our Tropic Air flights from and to Belize City and our airport transfers, and arranged for a nurse to come to our condo to administer our Covid tests. We rented a golf cart from Junior at One Love Rentals. He met us at Grand Caribe after we checked in. We had great meals at Elvi’s, the Blue Water Grill, and Carumba’s where you get to pick out your own fish! We had a fantastic full day outing with Wilfred, owner of Reel, Grill, & Chill Belize. He picked us up at the resort dock, took us fishing for snapper, and then took us to a quiet cove with a beautiful beach. He made us snapper ceviche and snapper two ways on the grill with incredible potatoes and coconut rice. Cold beers and rum punch were a great pairing! After lunch he took us out to the reef to snorkel. We saw large rays, turtles, sharks, and lots of beautiful fish. It was a great day! We can’t wait to return to Belize!

Beautiful condo on Ambergris

We spent a week in this condo with another couple and had a great stay. The condo is new and very spacious and nicely decorated. The setting is beautiful looking across the huge pool (actually there are 4 separate pools) out to the ocean beyond. It should be pointed out that you don't have access to the laundry room in the condo, which is kept locked. You have to have the maid do your laundry. She did do a good job. The staff were always pleasant and helpful There are several restaurants within walking distance. Our favorite was the Aji Tapa Bar right next door. We also liked the Palapa Bar for lunch. There is also Cowboy Doug's right on the grounds at the pool, which is very convenient. We went snorkeling with Alphonse (recommended by the concierge). This was the best snorkeling trip we have ever been on. We saw nurse sharks, rays, a moray eel, and so many beautiful fish. Alphonse was a great guide and pointed out so many things. He was also very helpful when I had a problem with my mask. The only negative thing was the cost of getting to San Pedro. It was about $70 a day or $300 a week to rent a golf cart, plus you had to pay $5 toll each way to cross the bridge into town. We just took a taxi the couple of times we went in, which was $17.50. Mariah, the owner of the condo, was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. We would definitely stay here again.

I am so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. The Grand Caribe staff should have allowed you access to our laundry, I apologize. My husband and I are extremely easy to keep in contact with while you are staying in our condo. You can either email (free wi-fi) or go to the front desk and have them give us a call. Of course we want everything to be perfect, so please let us know if something is not as expected. We do want everyone to enjoy our little piece of paradise! EXCEPTIONAL AND EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS

Fabulous! Romantic! Peaceful! Great Service! Clean! Safe! Spacious! GC definately did not disappoint. My GF and I stayed at a unit that overlooked the pool and the beach. Great views and quiet. The owners were extremely helpful and answered all my questions regarding what to do, the location and amneties. The pool bar had great food and drinks, particularly the Huevos Rancheros breakfast(make sure you get it with Fry Jacks!). Chi(the bartender) is a great source of knowledge about the area, so you will not have a hard time making friends with him. It is about 15 min water taxi, maybe 20-25 min bike ride to san pedro, so if u are okay with a little more distance to town, then this is the place for you. We liked the peacefulness of the area. We recommend getting bikes and riding up and down the beach. We recommend getting breakfast at Ak'bol( few min away), drinks at Palapa( few min away) and eating at Matachia(one of the coolest decor you will see) and getting the Quesdilla. Matachia is about a 25-30 min bike ride north up the coast, but you will see and visit some awesome bars such as captain jack's, coco beach( a favorite of ours), capricorn and a whole host of others! We also recommend a sunset sail, GC can set it up for you. It was out of this world. We loved it so much that we are considering getting a unit there. We will stay at the GC again.

This is the place to rent! Not only was our host exceptionally helpful in the weeks leading up to our arrival, but even during the stay, she was immediately available to answer any questions, make dinner reservations or suggestions, and help with any other questions we had during our stay. The facility was clean, well decorated and full of modern day amenities. Other than a swimsuit and a change of clothes, you don’t need to bring anything. Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Couldn't have been better!

We just got back from our stay and are already trying to figure out when we'll be able to get back. The condo unit is beautifully furnished, spacious and has great ocean views. The owners have thought of and provided everything you could possibly need during your stay. We traveled with our 3 kids (ages 4, 6 and 9) and the basket of sand toys, footballs and frisbees was a huge hit. And the Grand Caribe resort amenities were even better than expected. From help arranging rides to/from the airport and golf cart rentals, to scheduling COVID tests, laundry service, poolside food and drink availability, friendly staff and well maintained grounds - this place does it all very well. Great location too. An easy golf cart ride into town but with plenty of even closer restaurants and places of interest as well. Loved it and look forward to getting back!

Perfect place to stay

Loved the ocean views, sitting on the dock watching tarpon and rays swim by and sitting by the pool. The family loved the games by the pool and getting picked up at the dock for snorkeling. The unit had everything we needed and the front desk was very helpful with additional linens and cleaning when requested. We will definitely be back to Grand Caribe.

Outstanding experience

Beautiful 5* luxury

The condo is absolutely beautiful, in the best location with the best pool for sure! We could not have asked for a better stay. Grand Caribe was amazing at helping us book flights, picking us up at the airport, & booking excursions Actually the book the owners left in the condo was very helpful...they listed favorite restaurants...we liked everything we tried Don’t miss secret beach! And Pacos on the beach (5 min walk) was fun every night!!

We fell in love with the island and the people. It's easy living since English is their native language and USD is accepted everywhere.

We have been to numerous Caribbean islands and keep returning to San Pedro. So when buying a place at Grand Caribe became possible, we didn't hesitate! We feel that Grand Caribe is easily the nicest and best built resort on Ambergris Caye. The location single-handedly surpasses all others. While San Pedro is a short golf cart ride away, there are several restaurants/bars within walking distance of the condo. We feel that renting a golf cart (the primary mode of transportation) is a must! Exploring all the island has to offer is half the fun! Fortunately, cruise ships only dock at the mainland which we feel preserve Ambergris' laid back setting. You can be as active or as relaxed as you wish. The resort strives to have excellent service and provide everything you want. So whether you want to spend the day doing water sports or lounge by the pool (being served by two of the top restaurants on the island) they will take excellent care of you.
