You are able to access all that Galveston has to offer with a quick trip on the ferry. Sunrise and sunset are tough to beat from the front porch with a coffee or a cocktail staring out at the unobstructed views of the ocean. Go explore the island too - rent some golf carts for beach rides, play putt putt golf, or hit up a water park. The fishing is great here too, whether you want to fish off the beach or charter a guide in the bay.
