Family Vacation

This property was amazing and accommodated all 12 of us with more space than we could use. The game rooms, theater room, outdoor play areas, firepit, and location were perfect. We book a family trip every year and always pick a new place. We loved this property so much I anticipate we will book this home again in the future.

Ocean paradise

Our family loved this vacation. There was so much to do, in fact I never once heard “im bored” from any of the kids. There really is something for everyone at the bloomer mansion.

Huge house, so much to do!

Great house with so much space and activities to have fun with. Theater was great, all the table games were great, huge kitchen table for group meals. Great house overall.

Family Vacation

We had a family get together with 8 people. The house had plenty of room for everyone. It was great that there were so many different games/activities located in the basement, and the basement is huge. There was something for everyone. This is an old house, so expect some quirks.

Long Beach Vacation

Staying at the Bloomer Mansion was truly an experience! The house is spacious with many bedrooms and a great dining room that accommodated all 13 of us. Loved the grand piano in the living room and the comfortable leather couches! The teenagers among us enjoyed the many recreational opportunities and the amazing theater. Great house and attentive management company.

An excellent location with great amenities. We spent 3 nights and this was not enough to truly appreciate all the features. It was unusual to walk into a place which already looks good online and it looks significantly better in person. The hosts responded very promptly to any needs and let us know when there would be maintenance happening. We loved having a walking path to the beach and being just a few blocks from a grocery store. The kitchen provided pretty much anything we needed for making meals and we made quite the feasts. Not really easily handicap accessible for a couple members of our party, but at least there is one bedroom on the main floor. Lots of beds and really great for large families with kids. We had lots of fun!

Amazing property with a lot of history

Amazing property that handled us all. We were very comfortable and could all gather in the living room and still have enough space for kids to run around. The downstairs for the kids was perfect. Close to the beach and big backyard for games and even a fire pit. We all loved it and will be back again!

Perfect for Large Gathering

Bloomer Mansion was a great place for a Christmas family long weekend. Plenty of room and amenities for our well traveled group. There were even Christmas decorations to welcome us. Out favorite feature was the large dining room table that had loads of room for meals and games. Very eclectic in a good way!

Quick results when needed . Beautiful home. We saw deer every day. Our 3 dogs were happy. Biggest complaint , please provide power strips. Lack of outlets was an issue.

Our yearly Thanksgiving/Christmas family get together. 14 family members from 67 to 9.

Everybody enjoyed all the games in the basement. Watched a football game in theater room. Cooks were impressed with all the equipment in the kitchen. Enjoyed walk down to ocean and driving on the dunes.

Bloomer Family Vacation

We had a great time. The house is large. We had up to 13 people & we did not feel crowded at all. The house isn’t for everybody. It is old, full of antiques & has a unique atmosphere. Some of the rooms could use a little TLC, but most of us loved it. The basement entertainment center is awesome!

The Mansion

Bloomer's Mansion Escape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our Marriage group (5-6 couples) has been getting away for MLK weekend for over 15 years. Bloomer's mansion is one of the few places we have found to be good for all of us to eat together, have our own good beds/rooms and still something to do away from the house. It's charming and in a great location and has much to offer! We love it!

Thanks so much for coming back! We have some guests that have been back every year for 15 years in a row now, since the new owners purchased the place. The extra huge dining room table sits over 12 people and was actually purchased in 1932 as an Antique back then. So many happy memories around that table by guests going back decades. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our marriage group of 5 couples gathering for MLK weekend for over 25 years has been at Bloomers for nearly 15 of those years. Great accommodations now that most rooms have a King bed. Plenty of gathering space for games, meals, and Movie watching in the new theatre. Issues with poor location of electrical outlets and bedside tables in some rooms for those with Cpap machines

A Large Family Christmas

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was AMAZING! We have a large family and it was perfect for our get together of Parents, kids grandkids and even a granddog! The main floor is great for the gatherings and conversations with a table big enough for all. The Basement is a great space for those wanting to plat games and not interrupt conversation. The Beach is a short walk through the woods and the town itself is friendly with just what you need.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were upgraded to this house after some heating issues with the house we originally rented. Have to say we really lucked out! We had a large group and there was more than enough space for us and our extended family to gather and entertain. It's an old quirky house but that's part of the charm. The outdoor play area was perfect for our little ones. And the path to the beach is really beautiful, don't miss it!

hi Nick, i am so happy it worked out for you, and thank you for bring up the beauty of the path to the beach. It is a longer walk, but it is through moss covered woods filled with birds and wildlife. While it may take a slow 10 minute stroll to get the beach, all of the land is part of the Bloomer Mansion. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our annual "5 couple weekend." We have come to Bloomer Mansion for several years and can't beat it . . . we've tried. The accommodations are the best with comfortable beds for everyone, lots of bathrooms and space, and the mansion is totally equipped with everything one would need. Would, and have, recommended the mansion to my friends. We feel "at home" when we are here. We'll be back!
