On the Beach with Court Yard Poseidon C

Poseidon was built as a cottage on dune line along the Chesapeake Bay in Willoughby Spit about 1904. Amenities include semi-private sauna gated yard court-side deck beachfront gazebo hot tub, court side patio, outdoor beach shower, beach pathways, fountain sculpture, Bocce Ball Court, outdoor recreational kitchen & shared sauna. The rental isnt on the beach-side of the property. The beach is 20-feet away. A walk around the building and over our private walkways takes you to the beach
The space
A beach themed 1-bedroom cottage with custom wood trim, Carolina bead board wainscotting, ceiling fans, central heat and air, full kitchen, comfortable bedroom with king bed, a sofa that pulls out into a comfortable sleeper sofa that sleeps 2, 2 large screen smart TV's and laundry room. Also featured on the property is shared sauna. Professionally decorated with full-size washer/dryer.

Also found on the property is extensive outdoor seating areas, well kept grounds, professional landscaping, swings, water fountain, beachfront pergola, 6-person hot tub, Bocce Ball Court, Horseshoe Pit, kayaks, and beachfront grilling area with shower & sink with running water that also has seating. Also included are good quality beach umbrellas and chairs for guest use. These are common areas shared with the owner who lives on-site, and our Vrbo guests. All of these items are available to our Guests with no charge.

The hot tub is located next door to the Courtyard Cottage. The Courytard cottage is part of a 5-unit Beach Resort property that we operate on the site. All guest amenities are shared between the rentals

Free kayaks are provided. Liability waiver are uploaded to our guest and then the guest uploads it back to us. Quite, clean, intimate, and professionally managed.

Even with a thorough modernization the property is a historical home that is now over 110 years old. It has some eccentricities that reflect building standards and designs from the turn of the last century that lends to its charm as an older beach cottage. The bathroom is not as large as what is found in modern structures and there is only a shower. The large laundry room and sauna is a shared amenity. Access to the laundry room is provided with locking doors.
Other things to note
Poseidon is a well kept and well-loved bay front property. It is a quiet place for guests that enjoy a quiet beachfront to fish, kayak, crab, sail, suntan, wind-surf, swim or beachcombing. The property is not suitable for parties, inappropriate behavior of any kind or unauthorized guests. Parking is decal controlled and we can only accommodate parking for our registered guests. We do not rent to guests under 27 or guests that do not have a 5-star review from a prior Vrbo host.

Smoking of any kind is prohibited inside of the property but we have cigarette buckets along the exterior as smoking is permitted outdoors. Maximum setting for Air Conditioning is 71-degrees. Maximum heat setting is 76 degrees

We also have free kayaks too but a Waiver of Liability form will need to be initialed and executed by all adults that will be using the kayaks (minors are not to use kayaks). If you would like to use this equipment please message me with your email address and names of all adults that will be using it. I will send the agreement to you by Docusign. Once you sign and initial in all of the spaces provided and the completed form is sent to me I will then provide you with the lock code to unlock the kayak and provide a paddle to use
