Experience the charm of a bygone era is our meticulously restored 1927 historic home. Our home is a testament to our dedication to preserving its original grandeur. After a 3yr renovation, it`s now ready to welcome you. Every inch exudes its vintage glory, from the baby Grand Piano to the 1954 GE stove, a cherished wedding gift. All of the antiques lovingly left by the original owners, adds an authentic touch. Immerse yourself in history while enjoying modern comforts. A truly timeless getaway

Excellent convenient location on the corner of Cloverland Drive(US2) therefore; there will be traffic noise. The Modern Vintage is truly a unique experience; however, If you are seeking peace and privacy, please check out our other homes in Ironwood!

Walkable to many stores and establishments. Driveway is long and car capacity depends on the season. Car capacity up to 6 during 3 seasons, 2-4 during heavy winter months- please inquire.

PETS! Please do not instant book if you want to bring a pet. Please send an inquiry w/pet details prior to booking. No shedding dogs/ well behaved dogs only
Exceptions on number of dogs, age, and weight can be made w/host approval

Fireplace- currently not functional; being converted in 2026. Please do not use!
Windows- Orig 1920`s all recently reglazed/new sash cords; but screens are off so wouldn`t recommend opening, especially with central AC!

Excellent convenient location on the corner of Cloverland Drive/US2. Same location as the majority of lodging in Ironwood. therefore; there may be some traffic noise.

Streaming Services: When we stay at the house we leave several streaming services logged in to our acct(/Sling/Amazon Prime/Disney +/Hulu) so please try to avoid logging out of our account and logging in/out of yours...we can no longer share our passwords:(

Family visit

Looking for a place close to the wonderful parks and wilderness but stylish and comfortable for the wife and daughter, and everyone loved it. Things were easy and comfortable, and the family was happy- we'll be back when we are planning future trips to the area, thanks!

Fantastic stay!

2 couples came to this house to enjoy the fall colors in the area, and it did not disappoint. Literally took a left out of the driveway and followed the road down to lake Superior. The house Itself is decorated so beautifully and the host was phenomenal. Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderfully designed and equipped with all necessary features for a great vacation

The house was well done and organised for 6 people to stay and rest. We had everything we needed! Beds were comfortable, kitchen well equipped, communication with the owner was perfect, the area is beautiful, lots to see and do. We'd definitely come back!

Great spot to enjoy the area

Came up and used the house for a 4 day ski trip. Place was super clean and cozy and the retro vibe was great. Liked the games available in the basement. Will be back next year!

Speed camp for grands

Property owner was tremendous with communication pre and during our stay. The house was well stocked and furnished. Be aware that the second 1/2 bathroom is in the basement. Some road noise from Highway 2 should be expected if you stay in this cool vintage house. Definitely we would stay there again.

This was the nicest vacation home we have ever stayed in, beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Every spice, dish cooking utensil and appliance you could ever want to use was here as well as a lovely coffee station with lots of extra goodies provided by Michelle, your host. Communication was excellent!

Wonderful home in Ironwood!

This house is fantastic. There is something for everyone to do and comfortable spaces throughout the home. The beds are comfy, the couches and chairs are wonderful to lounge in, the piano, shuffle board and darts are fun to play with. 10/10.

Amazing stay at this adorable house

Wow, this property was absolutely adorable. It was my husband, my daughter and our two Small dogs that stayed here. It was stocked with absolutely everything that we would ever need. It was super clean. And we would definitely stay here again. Honestly, We have stayed at a lot of VRBO’s And this one was more stocked than anyone we have ever stayed in. The host was super friendly And easy to get a hold of And we were very pleased.

Great location, lots of fun

The house was incredibly clean and we were able to just walk straight in and get settled which was terrific after a very long drive. The kitchen had all the basics and even an assortment of spices and other staples which isn't always the case. The aesthetic was relaxing and well done without feeling cluttered or like we had to worry about the kids knocking something over. Check-out was as easy as check-in; nothing complicated. We loved how close the house was to everything; it was super easy to walk to the park and other places if we wanted to and the drives were easy. Because it is located on US 2, naturally there is a bit of traffic noise but it wasn't really noticeable for us. Wonderful places to visit nearby - beaches at Lake Superior, Lake of the Clouds, Minocqua for a day of go karts, mini golf, and horse riding. We loved our time here and would definitely return!

My wife and I have been staying in the “Modern Vintage” home in Ironwood and I had to tell you how much we’ve enjoyed it.A few things that stand out in no specific order are the wonderful coffee cups & dishes; there are an abundance of good quality. The kitchen is really well equipped; we always do our own cooking so having nice cookware and the awesome stove / oven has been great. Other things like the bathroom products, towels and bedding are all very nice.We found the place to be incredibly clean - our compliments to your staff. Thank you for the cute festive holiday decorations to help get us in the spirit.Your next door neighbor was friendly - which we took as a compliment to you; he snowblew the driveway for us today as it’s been snowing all day.This house has nice spaces and windows. The bed was great too.Last but not least I was so happy to have the piano. Yes, I played it!Thank you for sharing your lovely home in this winter wonderland!David Miel & Judith Forbes

FANTASTIC!

House is BEAUTIFUL, so welcoming with everything you need! Everyone loved it. My 4 yr. old niece really enjoyed the piano. The location is perfect to access conveniences, travel to other locations, and visit Interstate Falls. Michelle is a GREAT host! She sent us clear helpful instructions and recommendations for things to do. In the cute office area was a binder filled with lots of great information. We ate at a cafe that was filled with residents and very nice staff and good food. Amazing thing happened there! We ended up sharing a large table with relatives visiting the area who are related to our family thru marriage! Gotta love that! THANK YOU, MICHELLE!
