Month Long Stay in LA

Vicky was a wonderful host and her property was perfect for our needs. From the minute we walked through the security gate and down the walkway to the front door, we felt comfortable in our home away from home. Upon opening the door, we saw a lovely apartment that met all our needs. The kitchen/living/dining room area was very clean and had everything we needed. The bedroom is spacious with blackout shades, lovely linens and a comfy bed. The bathroom and shower were also very clean and spacious. The closet space was very sufficient. Our Golden Retriever also enjoyed his stay! We would recommend this property for your next stay in LA. Vicky is very accommodating and responds to requests or questions in a timely manner. We look forward to staying there again on our next visit!

Spacious, clean, convenient

Located below main house with separate entrance and one parking space, this was ideal place for us to spend week while visiting nearby family. Comfortable bed, large bathroom, and separate seating/kitchen area made it very pleasant.

amazing vacation

We have never used vacation home before and been a bit nervous. However, as soon as we got to the place, we liked it a lot! Very comfortable, homey atmosphere. We had everything we needed and even more. Thank you for treats waiting for us! Vicky is very friendly, easily accessible manager. She provided us with detailed instructions, which are easy to follow. We had no problems during our stay at all. We definitely would like to come back!

Beautiful Guest House and WONDERFUL Owner!

I did not actually get to stay here yet as our plans changed. I did go see the guest house because it is near our home (we are planning a remodel that has now been postponed!). The guest house is very clean, on a nice quiet street, has it's own secure entrance, is in a very convenient location, and even has a playground for children! Vicky is an absolute sweetheart and I am actually sad that we aren't able to stay there yet! I live nearby so I can tell you that the neighborhood is quiet, safe, and close to everything! I highly recommend staying here and I look forward to sending all my future out of town visitors to Vicky!

comfortable and lovely

We stayed here for almost 2 weeks and felt close to everything- Ventura Blvd, restaurants, shopping- yet it feels secluded and private. There are beautiful views from every window, has a well stocked kitchen, comfortable bed and a large, clean bathroom. Vicky has a nice basket of goodies in the apartment for when you arrive and there is a parking space in their driveway which is extremely helpful. Her welcome booklet has all the information you would need but she is also quick to answer any questions you might have. Would highly recommend this rental.

Great place to stay

This is a very inviting property. It is very new and clean feeling, especially the elegant tile bathroom and the bedroom with a beautiful view. It was very comfortable and we will stay there again in the future.

Fantastic Rental

Our 10 day stay at Vicky 's Guest House was wonderful. The property was exactly as described. Vicky was very responsive to any of our questions or needs. The location is breathtaking and it is very quiet. The guest house was beautifully decorated and fully stocked. We would definitely stay there again in the future.

Lovely, quiet, clean and comfy

Lovely, quiet, clean apartment with all your basic amenities, perfect for a short stay in the LA area. Located in a great neighborhood, in the hills above the valley, convenient to local sights. While we did not personally meet hostess Judy, she was extremely communicative via email. Check-in and check-out was easy, parking off street at the bottom of the driveway. We would stay here again should we return.

Couldn't have been better!

I had surgery in LA and my husband and I live in Santa Fe. I knew it would require several days of recuperation so I found this perfect property with a California King (very important for us, especially for recovery time). The location is prime, set in the hills of Sherman Oaks with beautiful sweeping views of the valley from my recovery bed. The apartment is spacious and well equipped. Vicki, the owner, is exceedingly kind and generous. She was most sympathetic to my recovery needs. I highly recommend this LA property. A little oasis in the urban jungle!

Sherman Oaks Gem

We spent 4 days/nights in this beautiful one bedroom where the King size bed was very comfortable. Our daughter joined us for two evenings and slept well on the pull out sofa-bed in the living area. The kitchen is very nice with everything one would need for a short or extended stay. The views of the valley are beautiful, the owners very friendly and accommodating, and the location is great, secluded yet close to shops and freeways. We'll certainly book again on our next trip to the LA Area.

Home Away Sweet Home

Our family stayed for a three weeks in this lovely apartment with our two Yorkies. It was a comfortable and safe environment for everyone. We felt right at home immediately. Gorgeous views and wonderful weather made it a special time. The owner and family are very friendly. We hope to be back again for another visit real soon.

Great place

We were having our home fumigated and needed a place to accommodate not just us but our two sweet cats. We were fortunate to come across this rental guest home. Not only was the owner accommodating and flexible to our needs but the home was adorable. Very clean and quiet. There was a Beautiful view of the valley and its walking distance to some of sherman oaks fun shops. I would highly reccomend this rental to anyone local or out of town. Great price too!

Wonderful Stay

Vicky was very accommodating of my last minute request for a 4-night stay. She replied to all my emails promptly and the house was ready for us when we arrived. It's the perfect size for a couple or like us, a couple plus one small child. There was a basket of treats waiting for us and the kitchen was stocked with basic necessities like water and snacks. The location is great - easy access to Ventura Blvd shopping and dining, and a quick hop over the hill (can take inside roads from this house instead of fwy) to the Westside/Beverly Hills. Everything was super clean, and the kind bed was luxurious - very nice linens! Lots of closet/storage space to keep our suitcases out of the way. Private/separate entrance is a plus.

Better than home!

I stayed here this month while I had a work assignment in LA. Coming from New York, it was a pleasure to find this guesthouse. The views are superb. The shower is oversized and everything I needed for cooking and comfort was there. Thanks to the upscale bedding and a TV in the bedroom, I slept better than in my NY apartment! Off street parking is a bonus and the location is so central and easy to find; I got to my meetings without difficulty. Strongly recommend.
