This well-appointed, three-bedroom condo is the perfect solution for families or groups of friends seeking affordable accommodations within Los Sueños Resort and Marina. The ample balcony overlooks the 16th hole of La Iguana golf course and offers panoramic views of Herradura Bay and Los Sueños Marina. It is one of the few properties from which the stunning Pacific Coast sunset is visible within the resort.

The master suite has direct access to the balcony and features a comfortable king-size bed, two spacious closets and an in-suite bathroom. Located in a separate wing of the apartment, the second bedroom has two double beds and the third bedroom features a queen bed and walk-in closet, with a full external bathroom located directly across from the bedrooms.

The open kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel electrical appliances, including a dishwasher and double-door fridge with water and ice dispenser. A bar separates the kitchen from the living-dining area with its comfortable sofa, large-screen TV and dining table for four. Sliding glass doors lead to the balcony with its teak outdoor dining table and two chaise lounges, the perfect vantage point from which to take in the stunning ocean, mountain and golf course views.

The property is located in the Del Mar community at the resort entrance, a quiet community of ten small buildings that surround three large swimming pools, two jacuzzis, multiple BBQ areas and ample tropical gardens. There is also an air-conditioned gym on site for guests to use.

From Del Mar, it is a five-minute drive to the resort amenities, including the Marriott hotel, golf club, spa, tour office, Marina Village and the exclusive Los Sueños Beach Club for Residents, which renters will be able to access free of charge during their stay. Within Los Sueños Resort, there are nine restaurants that offer a variety of cuisine, ranging from the laid-back bars to fine dining. Outside of the resort gates, there are numerous casual dining establishments located on the waterfront of Herradura Bay, a two-minute drive or easy 10-minute walk. The fabulous Auto-Mercado grocery store is only a 10-minute drive from this property and is the perfect place to stock up on everything that you require for your stay.

There are noise restrictions within the Del Mar community. Quiet time is from 10pm to 6am.
No clothing may be hung from balcony railings and outdoor furniture. There is a large portable drying rack in the laundry room for this purpose.

What a View!

Relax in Style – Spacious Condo at Los Sueños

We had a wonderful stay at this spacious and comfortable condo in Los Sueños Resort. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed—especially with the thoughtful welcome basket waiting for us! The resort itself is beautiful and well-maintained, with great amenities like multiple pools and a gym that we enjoyed throughout our stay.Our family had plenty of space to relax and unwind, which made a big difference during our trip. The location was convenient too—just about an hour and a half from Manuel Antonio for a fun day trip. The beach and restaurants just outside the resort were decent and easy to get to.Overall, we had a great time and would absolutely recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing, family-friendly getaway in Costa Rica!

We Love Costa Rica!!

I can't say enough great things about Andrea and this condo! The view was awesome, location amazing and the condo was very clean. Andrea is an AMAZING host. She answered so many questions before our visit and provided some really great activity recommendations. During our stay she was attentive to any questions we had and we appreciated all the communication. Kitchen is nicely stocked and plenty of bathroom and beach towels provided. The Los Suenos Resort has so many great amenities (beach club, fishing, etc.). All in all a great place to stay!

Great apartment

This condo is amazing with an incredible view. It has everything you could ever need. It's in a great spot in Los Suenos, so you can easily walk around and find plenty of places to eat. Andrea was really helpful, and Nitza, who cleans, did a fantastic job! We'll definitely come back!

Fantastic Stay

Andrea, was by far the best host I have ever encountered. She answered many questions prior to our arrival and had helpful recommendations when needed. The condo was very clean and the most equipped kitchen for those who like to cook while on vacation. We were so pleasantly surprised by the generous welcome basket she even took into account my mention of traveling with small children by including animal crackers and juice boxes. Andrea checked in with us as our week went on and was very quick to respond if we needed anything. The view is beautiful of the bay and golf course alike. We will definitely stay at Andrea's condo again on future trips to Los Suenos.

Short stay in los Suenos

I've stayed at a few different units in the Del Mar neighborhood of Los Suenos. This unit had the nicest furniture and a great location. It's really close to the guard gate and gym. It's a good location if you like walking to playa herradura where there are a few nice beach restaurants and paddle board rentals. The communication with the host was exceptional and check in was easy with an electronic scan code for the security guards. Luckily she was also flexible with an early check in.

It has it all

The view from the balcony is spectacular! I could have sat all day there and just watched the iguanas on the golf course, the birds and the boats. Andrea had cold drinks in the frig for us, a welcome basket that was so appreciated because we came in later than we thought we would. Everything everywhere was well maintained. The pools were immaculate, the beach club was great. Good food, drinks, and once again the pool was immaculate. Andrea was quick to respond, was so helpful even better our stay. The restaurants inside Los Sueños were fast, never waited long for a meal, did NOT ever wait for a seat ( super impressive considering how big the property is). We even got a complimentary cleaning in between our stay. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you Andrea for a lovely stay.

Nothing short of spectacular!!

We have stayed in many condos in Los Suenos. This was probably our favorite. The unit is on the top floor of Del Mar, which is our favorite location in all of Los Suenos.Spacious 3 bedrooms and 1 of the bedrooms has 2 double beds instead of the standard 2 twins, so that was an added bonus. Beds were comfortable and lots of extra bedding. Kids liked the extra blankets at night or when lounging on the couch. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need for a long stay and we were delighted to be welcomed with a few drinks and snacks for the kids as a welcome gift.TVs were smart TVs so that was a nice surprise. Laundry room was perfect and we used it everyday as we like to pack light.Balcony was perfect with a nice table for playing cards and the lounge chairs were so comfortable! We met the neighbors and they were lovely.Room is equipped with a safe, lots of hangers, plenty of towels (both beach and bath), and lots of room for storage. They even had board games for kids and adults and an assortment of books.We had 1 small issue while we were there and the host Andrea was attentive and took care of us right away. She even checked on us mid-trip to make sure we were having a nice stay.Best part about the condo is it comes with the most sought after “Beach Club Pool Pass” which gets you in to the best pool and pool bar on property and discounts around all of Los Suenos. I am a Canadian-British citizen who first moved to Costa Rica in 1998. I purchased Del Mar 1D in 2003 when I was the Director of Sales and Marketing for Los Sueños Resort. In 2006, I moved to Panama City for a job opportunity in the luxury real estate sector, and I have been splitting my time between the two countries ever since.

I love interacting with my VRBO guests and sharing my insights and experiences from having lived full-time and worked in Los Sueños and having traveled extensively throughout Costa Rica. My husband is an avid angler and golfer, and I love visiting the local restaurants and rainforest attractions.

I was fortunate enough to be the first buyer in Del Mar when the project was in the pre-construction (planning) stage. I chose unit 1D because it was quiet and private (200 feet away from the swimming pool) and has the best ocean and sunset view in the community, in my humble opinion!

In recent years, my husband and I have become fans of the local beach bars and restaurants outside of Los Sueños, and these are an easy walk or 2-minute drive from Del Mar. It is also a quick run to the Automercado supermarket for provisioning. They have an excellent selection at more affordable prices than what you will find in the resort.

Del Mar 1d is the largest model available, with a wrap-around terrace and 200 sq feet of additional indoor living space. I have set up the unit so that it sleeps six guests comfortably. As I work in the luxury real estate industry, my goal is to ensure that my guests enjoy a well-equipped and well-maintained property.
