Rustic summer farmhouse house located near Lake Chocorua, 7 min. Walk from house with a spectacular view, embracing a barn, a ten- acre meadow & Mount Chocorua beyond, with a rich history. Todd Lincoln, son of Abraham Lincoln, visited the property many times in the late nineteen century. Open from mid-June to the end of Sept., sleeps 8 comfortably, two full baths, full kitchen, washer & drye large dining room & living room with fireplace. Screened in porch. The space
The house is located on a very private rolling meadows wooded acres, with views of Mt. Chocorua. There's a barn and other out buildings on the property. You will drive through a gate hence "Willow Gate" (once there were two willows there by the gate) it's a long driveway through the meadow and you'll pass the barn the house is in the back and parking. There's plenty of sheets, blankets, and towels. Fully stocked kitchen: dishes, cups, pots & pans, coffee pot toaster microwave, dishwasher. Dish & laundry soap, paper products we ask if you could replace if you use a lot. There are fans - no air conditioning. Plenty of seating throughout. Screened in porch. Sliding screen door off of living room. Well behaved dogs welcomed. Great place to read books which there are a lot of books at the house for guest, along with some games.
Guest access
The house locked, there's a white front doorthat you will access through.
Other things to note
There is a space heater if needed. And guest can request additional ones if needed. We request that guest take their trash to the transfer station. We provide a permit that also always you to park in Tamworth residents only areas
