Perfect location!

This is the second stay for our group, and we definitely plan to return! The location is perfect - the beach and pool are just steps away, the view from the balcony is magnificent, the beach area in front of the condo never gets busy, and the condo is close to so many great restaurants. (Beat the traffic and head to Stewbie's Seafood Shack down the street..everything on their menu is fantastic!). We never hear noise from the neighboring condos, which is a plus. The owner is friendly and very responsive to messages. The condo is stocked with just about everything you can think of for cooking and storing food. Already planning our next stay!!

Thank you so much for your wonderful review and, most of all, for choosing to stay with us again! It means so much to know that After Dune Delight has become a place your group enjoys returning to. We're thrilled that you love the peaceful location, the beautiful Gulf views, and the easy access to both the beach and pool. One of the things we love most about this area is that it offers all the beauty of the Emerald Coast without the crowds, while still being close to so many fantastic restaurants. And thank you for the great recommendation of Stewby's Seafood Shack—it really is a local favorite! We're also happy to hear the condo had everything you needed and that our communication helped make your stay even more enjoyable. We truly appreciate your continued support and can't wait to welcome you back for your next beach getaway!

Our favorite spot!

Dune Pointe Is a unique property since it doesn't have any more than 20 units. Your private pool is never over crowded. It sits back just behind the beach because of the pool which causes a little extra shade from the building next to it so the sun doesn't blaze in on you in the morning while you're having a cup of coffee on your balcony staring at at the white sand beach and that emerald green water the coast is known for!!! After Dune delight 401 is Is extremely well kept with everything updated. The owner is absolutely wonderful to deal with!! Every year I take a new photo of my girls on that balcony facing the beach and it creates some of the best pictures ever!

Thank you so much for your thoughtful review! It truly means the world to know that After Dune Delight has become your favorite spot. We love that you appreciate the unique, peaceful atmosphere at Dune Pointe, and there’s nothing better than enjoying a morning cup of coffee while taking in the beautiful white sand and emerald waters. We’re especially touched that your family has made a tradition of taking balcony photos of your girls each year. Knowing that our condo has been the backdrop for such special memories is incredibly meaningful to us, and we hope those photos continue to capture many happy vacations for years to come. Thank you as well for your kind words about the condo and your experience with us. It has been a pleasure hosting your family, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to After Dune Delight for your next beach getaway!

Awesome

We had an amazing time at the condo! The attention to detail and all the personal touches were truly appreciated. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, making it feel like a true home away from home. We would absolutely love to stay here again. The new paint on the exterior really improved the buildings curb appeal and gave an other all clean look to the facility. The lock on the gates and gates to the beach are a nice touch.

Rhonda was amazing to work with. The condo was exactly as advertised, super clean, and stocked with all the essentials. I have to point out that there is an issue with the water at this building. We discovered that there is an ongoing issue with the water pump and it is very, very hot water throughout. Barely any cold water at all in any unit. Showering and bathing especially with a 5 month old was a major inconvenience the entire week. Washing laundry on a cold cycle came out essentially steaming. The owners are aware but do not disclose it prior to rental. When I called on the second day of our stay, I was told that the HOA “thought” it was fixed. A plumber was sent. His story was that they are aware it’s still broken, and they cannot get parts for the pump. He then proceeded to tell my husband that we just had colder water in the state of Tennessee and we aren’t accustomed to Florida water. Really?! We encountered many of the other guests at the pool area who also complained and stated that the issue is not being disclosed prior to rental. It’s unfortunate. It’s a really great place with beautiful, quiet, and close-up beach access.

Thank you for your kind words about the condo, its cleanliness, amenities, and our beautiful beach access. I’m glad you enjoyed so many aspects of your stay, but I’m very sorry the water temperature issue caused an inconvenience for your family, especially while traveling with an infant. I do want to clarify one important point for future guests. I was not aware that there was an ongoing water issue at the building prior to your stay. The first I learned of the problem was when you contacted me on the second day of your visit. As soon as you notified me, I immediately contacted a plumber, who came to the property that same day to investigate. Unfortunately, the repair required parts that building maintenance was unable to obtain during your stay, so the issue could not be resolved as quickly as we all would have liked. The necessary repair has since been completed and the water issue has been resolved. Had I known there was an unresolved problem prior to your arrival, I certainly would have addressed it rather than knowingly allowing a guest to encounter it without warning. I take guest comfort and communication very seriously and always work to address issues as soon as I become aware of them. Thank you again for staying at After Dune Delight and for your kind comments.

Great stay, Great Condo & Beautiful Beaches!!

We’ve always loved staying in Destin, but decided on this condo at Fort Walton to avoid the crowds! We were not disappointed! The condo was even better than the pictures & had everything needed for a great stay! We wished the pool would have been heated on our stay, but we knew ahead of time it wasn’t at this time of year. Rhonda was a great host and answered any questions we had right away! :) Would definitely stay again!!!

Five-Star Beachfront Bliss- Dolphins Included

If I could give this condo a Six-Star rating, I absolutely would! I recently spent three weeks here and I can honestly say it exceeded my every expectation. From the moment I walked in and saw the space and that view, I was finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. The entire condo was spotless and is thoughtfully designed. The beds are comfy, the kitchen is well stocked, and having access to a washer and dryer is priceless. Truly feels like your home away from home. Waking up and sitting on the balcony with a cup of coffee, listening to the sound of the waves and even witnessing an occasional dolphin sighting....it doesn't get any better. Walking distance to a convenience store and even a few restaurants make this location ideal. The condo complex was very quiet and even offers secured parking which is a nice perk. Even though I didn't use the pool, the grounds and the pool are extremely clean and well maintained. Communication with the owner was seamless from start to finish. She is very responsive with answering questions and even offering some suggestions on places to eat and things to do in the area. I would absolutely stay here again, in fact, I have already booked for 2027. If you are considering this property, just do it. I can honestly say that "After Dune Delight" is legit and all you have to do is show up and ENJOY!

Katherine, thank you so much for this incredibly thoughtful review — it truly means a lot! 🌊 Hosting you for three weeks at After Dune Delight was such a pleasure, and I’m especially happy to hear the condo gave you that immediate “exhale” feeling when you arrived. That’s exactly the experience I hope every guest has. I’m glad the comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, in-unit laundry, and peaceful balcony mornings with the sound of the waves (and even a few dolphins!) helped make your stay feel like a true home away from home. It’s wonderful that you enjoyed the quiet, low-density complex, the secure parking, and the convenience of nearby shops and restaurants — those are some of the things guests tell me they value most about this location. I also really appreciate your kind words about communication and recommendations during your stay. I always want guests to feel supported from booking through departure. The biggest compliment of all is that you’ve already reserved your return stay for 2027 — I’m truly honored and look forward to welcoming you back! 😊 Until then, thank you again for choosing After Dune Delight.
