The location of this property is beautiful! We were able to bring our dogs, and the fenced in yard was wonderful. There is a cozy "lived in" feeling about this house that makes having your dogs along less stressful (no pristine white linen sofas and such to panic over), and lends itself to relaxing. There's plenty of space and different areas for gathering or just going off for some quiet reading. The only challenge is the interesting staircase, but that, in it's own way, added to the charm of this beach community home. Since it's November, we had the need to use the heat, and were very comfortable for our entire stay. We have this property on our "good place to return to" list.

Love this property, the view, the house, so peaceful. Hoping to return next year. Host is very responsive. House had little extra things (like sugar packets) that I had forgotten, didn’t feel like I was given the bare minimum. I could tell the host cares about your experience.

Father's Day Weekend

Perfect spot for our family to spend Father's day weekend together. Even the dog was able to stay! Great Location. Plenty to do in the area even if it rains! Owners were easy to deal with and very quick to respond to questions.

Wedding

We were invited to a wedding and had never been to Rhode Island so we decided to rent a VRBO for a week to explore the area. The location was great with easy access to restaurants and was in a nice area to walk our dog. The views from the property were great and it was very relaxing to just sit on the porch and stare at the water.

A well loved comfortable property right on the water with views. A nice new deck and yard.

A beach bungalow with views and a nice back room with big windows overlooking the sea. Beautiful area with restaurants nearby. Pet friendly is a plus we appreciated. A suggestion would be a bigger lobster pot as a soup kettle doesn’t hold 4 lobsters

Charing home with a spectacular view

Beautiful view

We brought 4 adults and two Shelties to this home and found it to be very comfortable and convenient for our weekend visit. It’s an easy drive to Newport and we enjoyed eating dinner at Anthony’s and breakfast at Sunset Cove nearby. The view in the back was stunning and we were fortunate to take in a beautiful fireworks show while sitting on the back deck. The only negatives were no WiFi service and the sauna didn’t appear to be working. My daughter had a wonderful time using their kayak. The neighbors were very friendly and quiet. We would definitely come again.

Awesome property!

We were in love the minute we walked into the sun room and saw the view. The water access was key as was the fenced in yard for our dogs. We made wonderful memories!!!!

Island Park Gem

My family had a wonderful week in this lovely vacation home. The cozy Cape was exactly as pictured. Two living spaces gave us room to spread out, as did the deck and patio areas outside, which boast a beautiful view of the cove. We spent all our afternoons out in the shade, enjoying the sea breezes. The fully fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable, with a small beach and restaurants a short stroll away. All in all, a great place.

Quiet serene location.

We stayed in Portsmouth for a wedding 15 minutes away. It was just as the description was listed and more. It’s a beautiful location and wished we could have enjoyed it longer. We will return. The owners Doug and Carol responded quickly to all our questions. Cute fenced in yard for our pup. He loved it too.

Perfect Getaway!

One of the best vacations I’ve had. Watched the sunrise through a picture window in the sauna each morning, kayaking right from the property, supplies available to build a fire and option to switch to a gas fire on the deck. Fantastic views of the moon at night during our trip. Fenced in yard for the dog, walk to a dog friendly beach and restaurants. Quick drive to Newport. Cozy beds and roomy set up inside the house as well. Beautifully decorated inside an out including many enjoyable twinkling lights. We enjoyed grilling and creating lasting memories at this amazing spot. This place is a gem. Thanks to our incredible and informative hosts!

We love the location and beautiful views. Also having a nice clean ocean to swim, boat, fish, and go clamming in without getting in your car to find and pay for parking is wonderful. It is our happy relaxing place to enjoy and we feel blessed to have been able to purchase it.

We do not need to leave here to have fun, except to purchase food and explore nearby scenic funfilled towns like Newport for a change.
