Welcome to Sugar Magnolia 30A, a newly renovated, owner-managed beach cottage in the sought-after Magnolia Cottages by the Sea community on Scenic 30A. As the second home closest to the beach, you’ll enjoy a quick 1½-minute walk to the private deeded beach access and one minute to the heated community pool. Perfectly situated between Seaside and Rosemary Beach, this home offers the ideal blend of coastal convenience and tranquility.

Inside, bright and airy interiors feature two king suites, a bunk room sleeping five, three designer bathrooms, and a fully equipped kitchen. Every room is thoughtfully appointed with upscale furnishings, cotton linens, Smart TVs, and fragrance-free amenities for a comfortable, worry-free stay.

Amazing Family Beach Vacay

We've stayed in the Magnolia Cottages by the Sea neighborhood many times, but this was by far the best property we've visited. The bathrooms are beautiful and the whole house is updated. The kitchen was well equipped, and the shed was full of beach toys, chairs, etc. Also, the host Megan was outstanding. We didn't have any issues at all, but she was very responsive and welcoming. We'll be going back!

Great Location

The pictures and the location to the beach were 100% accurate. Very clean home and just a 1 min walk to the beach! I would definitely stay again.

Spring Break

Beautiful home, convenient to Rosemary, The Hub and Seaside and a very short walk across the street to the beach. The host was outstanding and the house is very well appointed and nicely decorated.

Great beach cottage!

We had a wonderful stay! Very quiet and comfortable. Loved sitting on the screened porch and enjoyed using the provided bikes for morning and evening rides. Perfect area for staying between Panama City and Destin. We have stayed in this community many times before but this was closest to the beach access than the other homes.

Perfect Family Getaway

This property was a great fit for our family of 5. Loved the quiet location and easy access to the beach. House was well stocked and we appreciated the use of beach gear supplied by the rental. Lots of families around and felt very safe. Loved the screened porch.

Perfect getaway

Charming and spacious home. Fully stocked kitchen and bath basics were appreciated. Favorite spot was the screened porch. Easy walking to pool and beach and bikes for trips to Alys or Rosemary. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location

Our family had such a great time. This property is clean and tidy, homey and warm. Love to come back at some point. Location right across the street from the beach. Minutes to restaurants and shopping.

Great place! We easily rode our bikes every day to Ally’s Beach, Rosemary Beach, and The Hub. The Beach was easily accessible. Pool was heated which was nice since we visited earlier this month. Property management is great. We look forward to returning!

Perfect house

We had an amazing week, this house was absolutely perfect for our family of 4. A very short walk to both the pool and the beach, the location was perfect. Super clean with everything you could need in the kitchen. We look forward to coming back soon!

Great Place Very Close to the Beach

Eric was wonderful and quick to respond to my questions. Lovely cottage--nicely supplied kitchen which turned out to be critical because we ate almost every meal in due to Covid-19. Look forward to staying here again. Great front porch too!

Great stay

We had a wonderful stay. The property was very clean and family friendly. We loved the space. This was our second time in this neighborhood, but first time at this property! It was a very short walk to the beach. We came back several times throughout each day, and it wasn’t a big at all to make the walk back and forth. We enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic, convenient, comfortable beach house

We had a great time! The proximity of the house to the beach can’t be beat. The layout was easy for our family to enjoy. The beds and couches were comfortable. There were plenty of towels. Overall the house was cute and delivered on our needs. The only downside is there were no kid-friendly plastic plates, bowls or cups.

A very quaint and cozy home!

The home was very nice, with updated decor & nicely laid out! The kitchen is stocked with all the necessary utensils and a very expansive service for several folks, if needed. A covered screened porch that we enjoyed so much on the cooler October mornings. We would most definitely consider this rental again in future travels!

Amazing property near Rosemary Beach

Our family of 5 just returned from our stay at Sugar Magnolia and really enjoyed our time there. The property was beautiful, clean and well appointed. The host was very attentive to our needs and always responded quickly to any questions we had. The shed was filled with beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, 4 beach cruiser bikes and a bike trailer for our 5 year old daughter. The location was great with only a short 10-15 minute bike ride to the restaurants and shops in Alys and Rosemary beaches to the east and to the west about 10 minutes, there is a really cool outdoor mall with restaurants called The Chill that is a great place to get food and hang out. It was just a short walk across the street from the house to the boardwalk that leads to a beautiful private beach. We definitely would recommend this property and are already trying to plan a trip back.

Wonderful home

This was the perfect home for our family of 5 plus grandparents. The home is a short walking distance to the beach. Close enough for my 3 year old to walk without being carried! There is a shed with plenty of beach gear including umbrellas, sand toys, and bikes. The home is clean and had everything we needed. The property owner is very responsive to questions. 10/10 stars!

First family vacation

Thank you for a wonderful place to stay on our very first vacation as a family of 5 plus 1 very special Nana! We loved calling this sweet blue cottage home for the week while we had fun playing in the sun, building castles in the sand and making lots and lots of memories! The house was the perfect size for us and was very well furnished with comfy beds, cute decorations, and perfect outdoor seating areas! We had everything we needed in the well appointed kitchen to prepare meals in on several nights, but was super close to lots of restaurants and Publix too! We certainly appreciated the quick access to the beach without the hassle of schlepping our beach gear very far! We loved our stay and will consider a stay here again!

Convenient and well-appointed

The Coral Cottage is convenient to the beach and the pool. There is a steep staircase to access the beach, but the house is close enough to run little ones back and forth for bathrooms breaks, meals, etc. The kitchen is well-stocked with pots and pans, and other cooking utensils that are in good shape. The decor is beachy, but modern and clean. If you are traveling with another family, please note that the large "master suite" is located upstairs and includes it's own private porch. The screened-in porch on the front of the house is a huge added bonus, as it gives kids a place to play on a rainy day, and it gives adults a place to relax after the children have gone to bed. We look forward to our return!

great house, very small/crowded beach access

We had a lovely trip, this house was well suited to our 2 small families with young children. The kids loved the bunk room. We had some issues with the A/C that were dealt with promptly. The shed was well stocked with chairs, bikes, umbrellas, and boogie boards. Kitchen was also very well stocked, including plastic plates/bowls/cups for kids which was nice. The gated beach access is only a short walk away, but there is only a very small area where Magnolia Cottage guests are allowed, as it is private beach on either side, and since the new Walton County ordinance, they are very strict about property lines. Not an easy place area to get a socially distanced, let alone water-front, spot. I would recommend renting chairs from La Dolce Vita to get a nice spot.

Totally Awesome

This was our first time at the Florida panhandle, and we were very blessed to get the best vacation home our first time there. We needed a place where my husband could relax, where our three kids (ages 6, 11, and 13) could have fun, and where we were in close proximity to the beach as well as restaurants and a grocery store. But we also didn’t want to be near high-rises or hustle and bustle. This home was perfect for us. The owners clearly care that their renters feel at home and that all their needs are met. The home is beautiful, clean, very comfortable, has everything you need for cooking meals, has games and movies, has beach chairs and umbrellas, has four adult bikes, is less than 10 minutes from Publix, is a 2-minute walk to the beach, is an easy bike ride to restaurants and shops, and all in all was everything we wanted in a vacation home. We spent five wonderful days relaxing at the beach, riding bikes to lunch or dinner, playing games, reading, and eating at “home”, and then repeating the process all over again. We have no complaints with this home. The home also has a very good “feel” to it. We’d stay here again without hesitation. Thanks for helping make our vacation awesome!
