We were met at the airport and taken to the Amalfi unit. No arrangements were made for the check-out. We had paid for 5 guests and while I found the extra inflatable mattress, there was no pillow or blanket. I messaged and tried to phone the Cebu contact given with no success. I therefore had to buy a pillow and cover. When it came to checking out, I rang the previous day to our leaving but was unable to reach the contact again. Eventually they rang back and we arranged to leave at noon. They said they could not take us to the airport. When it was time to leave, the contact had not appeared and I had to leave the keys with the gate security officer. For such a luxury, well fitted out unit, I would have expected someone to come and inspect the premises before we left and receive the keys. Lastly, getting a taxi in the evening (to eat out) is a problem as they are all fully booked and very few vacant cabs pass the property at that time of day. At other times of the day obtaining a taxi is no problem. Once we had our self drive hire car, everything was ok and transport was no problem. SM Seaside is quite close but too far to walk to. Overall a good experience which could have been excellent with a little attention from the listed contact who seemed not interested in us after we had checked in and who was almost impossible to contact! We would book this accommodation again but pick up our car on the way to the unit, so we are independent of taxis right from the start. Next time we would hope for more attgention from the listed contact.
