Loggerhead Cay is proudly among the first beachfront communities welcoming visitors back to the island. The beaches are open, the shelling is fantastic, and Sanibel Island is ready for your return.

Just steps from the sand, The Palm Lodge invites you to enjoy shelling, the sea, and postcard-ready views. Chic coastal décor brings the island’s whimsy indoors, making this sought-after seaside condo at Loggerhead Cay a relaxing and stylish retreat.

THE SPACE
This coastal boutique two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo greets you with tropical charm. The spacious living area features an oversized sectional and large Smart TV, perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach. The fully equipped kitchen reflects the hues of sand and sea, while the dining area accommodates both table and bar seating. The serene master suite boasts a king bed and private ensuite with soaking tub and separate shower. The guest bedroom and bath offer their own playful coastal escape. A screened lanai brings in the sea breeze, providing an inviting outdoor living space. Lanai has courtyard view.

THE PROPERTY
Loggerhead Cay is a well-maintained beachfront complex on the easily accessible east end of the island, just minutes from the Causeway. The property offers one of the largest heated pools on the island, tennis and pickleball courts, shuffleboard, private beach access, BBQ grills, and elevator access.

THE ISLAND
Sanibel Island is about 25 miles from Fort Myers Airport and feels secluded with its pristine coastline. Renowned as one of the world’s top shelling destinations, the island also offers miles of bike paths, nature preserves, and outdoor adventures.

THE EXTRAS
High-speed WiFi, three Smart TVs, a full-size washer and dryer, and quality linens are included, along with everything you need for a beach day, including chairs, umbrellas, towels, sand toys, and a beach wagon.

Families will appreciate the mini crib with organic sheets, portable high chair, and child-friendly plates and cups.

GUEST REQUIREMENTS
Guests must be at least 28 years old, and a signed rental agreement is required. Failure to sign agreement will result in cancellation.

THE FINE DETAILS
7 night minimum stay // Saturday to Saturday Check-In/Check-Out.
Minimum stay is required by local Sanibel laws. Sorry, no exceptions.
Reservations can be made 12 months in advance.
Occupancy cannot exceed 6 people // Max 4 adults

We had a fabulous week at this beautiful home! We have stayed at Loggerhead Cay previously - this is a wonderful complex - and The Palm Lodge is the best yet. It is more beautiful and better equipped than previous rentals. We love the decor and furnishings! It had everything we needed for the beach and for cooking nice meals. The condo is very clean and comfortable. Our communication with Tara and Michael was great from the initial booking through to our last day. We would definitely stay at this beautiful home again.

Destination Loggerhead

We love Loggerhead; it's a beautiful property. Just a few suggestions – BUY A COFFEE POT! We had coffee, but no K-cups. Went and bought the reusable ones; they didn't work. Drove back to Walmart and bought one for 15. Need a larger table/shelf in the kitchen for groceries; and benches in bedrooms for luggage; hooks and/or pegs to hang towels to dry. The jute rugs are rough on bare feet; and the sectional was very low and difficult for us 60-somethings to get up out of. Wallpaper throughout was so lovely. The lanai was my favorite spot.

Beautifully decorated and comfortable unit

My partner and I found this condo in Loggerhead Cay to be true to its photos - beautifully decorated, giving its living spaces a very warm, comfortable atmosphere. I loved its cozy-feeling wallpaper, and the mural in the entranceway was welcoming and gorgeous with its tropical plants and vibrant colors. The kitchen was very well-stocked and spacious, and the lanai had very comfortable furniture, which is where we spent mornings and had lunch often. I loved the fact that the unit is close to the elevator, making our stay there very do-able, considering that we both are not spring chickens! This condo was also immaculately clean. The landscaping is being worked on in spots, and our view from the lanai was green with new planting and palm trees, and we had a slight view of the ocean and pool. The beach was easily accessible and also beautiful with sand bars - we spent most of our late afternoons there - also the unit's beach chairs, wagon and umbrellas are located in a storage facility not far from the condo. We hope that we can spend a week there next year!

Very pleasant stay in Sanibel, steps away from beach with everything you need for the beach, multiple Tommy Bahama backpack chairs and beach umbrellas included. Very clean unit. As described. Some days an issue with no see ums at beach, apparently worsened on island since hurricane

Great Spot

We had a great time staying in the unit over the week of Thanksgiving. The unit has new updates, was clean and perfect for a relaxing week. Hosts did a great job communicating. Unit is in the back half of the condo complex closer to the tennis and pickleball area, but still an easy walk to the pool or the beach.

Lovely property

The condo was very lovely. Everything was updated and very comfortable.There was abundance of towels, including beach towels. The storage area was great with Beach equipment. I appreciated that the kitchen was fully equipped and very organized. Looking forward to coming back.

Return to Sanibel

We have been coming to Sanibel for many years and so like many, we were shocked and saddened to see the damage Hurricane Ian caused in fall 2022. This was our first trip back and I must say, Mike & Tara were incredible hosts and their condo was amazing! It is not only beautifully appointed, it was spotlessly clean and the kitchen had everything we needed for meals, drinks, etc. As we look to make our plans to come back to Sanibel in the future, this is the first place we will look to rebook. Thanks Mike and Tara!
