There is a bathroom window that cannot close. The light bulb outside needs to be replaced. The house was not stocked with basics for the length of the stay. We had to buy our own and extra toilet paper. We also could not locate the hair dryer. There were things that were left in the cupboards and on shelving. For a 5 bdrm house that can sleep 10, there is not enough cooking and dining equipment for that many people. The table only seats 5, and there are not table settings for 10. The bedding is pretty thin for the cold winter weather. And at least one of the mattresses was just a box spring and mattress on the floor. The heater is loud and noisy for anyone sleeping downstairs.

never stayed

I had to contact property manager for access code for house since I did not receive it when stated. I was told I'd receive it the next day only to find out the house had issues and I wouldn't be able to stay there. Flooding in house. Manager said he had another house so went to look at it, it was in terrible shape. One sliding door didn't lock. Hole in decking. Filthy inside. I refused that house. He would not refund to refund my payment and said I had to contact customer service to get refund, which I did and I just received a bill for 400 dollars for talking with customer service. 6 days ago had a text from this property manager asking Kristen (not my name) if she found a new house or staying in a hotel - he listed a house he had available....and not going through VRBO.... Thinking SCAM

First, contact person never gave me check in info 24 hrs in advance. I had to reach out to get info and was told it would be ready by 4pm. Was told a fridge repair was being done that day. Father’s, Sunday, June 15. Was told I would be contacted with updates. I had to follow up and was then told 6pm check in. Drive up to home at 6 pm. Couldn’t believe my eyes. Broken garage door windows bordered up, 3 ft high grass in front, pile of bricks and downed tree in front yard. Siding missing on house. Filthy windows. Went to front door, was slightly ajar. One cleaner inside who did not speak English. Spoke Spanish and said 2 mores hours to finish. My daughter, who accompanied me, we went in. Water everywhere. White dust everywhere. Mops and rags on floors but didn’t appear to be making any attempt to clean up all the water. Furniture was missing. Bedding on the floor and not clean. Broken furniture in bedrooms. Back deck was dangerous, as there were several rotted out holes. No furniture on deck as shown in listing. Doors were a mess and some doors to exterior were not able to lock. Contacted “James” the listing person. He told me it would be clean by 8 pm. I’m sorry but being cleaned was half the battle. I was furious and demanded a full refund. He offered another home. I refused. He then refused to issue any refund. For one week I continued to contact VRBO and demanded a refund. VRBO was not helpful in this process. Further they offered no help to relocate me. Eventually got…
All of these photos were taken at a 6 pm arrival.2hrs delayed due to home not cleaned at 4 pm as promised.Water in most room due to pipe flooding. Not even close to posted photos in listing. White dust all over the floors bedding was not clean
Beds not made. Broken furniture Bedding on floor at attempted check in. One woman non English speaking attempting to clean. Told me 2 more hours in Spanish.
Water all over laundry floor. Was told check in delayed due to fridge repair. Apparently it was a lot more than that!
