Located off K-96, we are a 3/4 mile south off a blacktop road near the tourist town of Yoder.

Uniquely situated on a Working Dairy Farm.
This 640 sq ft of inside space is delightfully decorated in a cottage setting with timeless farmhouse decor. You will love the personal touches that make this cottage one-of-a-kind.

Wake up and watch the dairy cows lining up for their morning milking from your bedroom window.

Experience the peaceful setting of this unique little cottage in a restored barn that once housed cows and horses.

In the evening, star-gaze from your private backyard.

Shop the Farm Store for all your food items.

Sample freshly bottled, delicious, and creamy milk that was produced 50 feet away.

So quaint and clean

This property exceeded or expectations. Wonderful, peaceful and quiet, It’s just minutes away from Hutch and the drive is very easy. We will stay here again the next time we need to come to Hutch.

Wonderful place!

Perfect place if you are in the Hutchinson area. Cutest cottage and very clean. They have thought of everything. Basketball court is perfect for teenagers to get energy out!!

This is a true gem in Kansas and such a fun and unique place to stay. We loved our time here at the cottage and on the farm. The owners thought of everything in the cottage from the decor, the supplies, the outdoor games, grill, and all the furnishings. The store was so cool to visit in the morning and then to walk around the farm a little. Seeing the cows was great and being welcomed by all the sweet farm cats. You will love your stay here and it's worth every penny!

Cleanest place I’ve seen

First of all, of all the vacation rentals we’ve stayed in, this was so beautiful and clean inside. We had a wonderful time with the kids. Enjoyed some fresh cheese from the store. Very cool experience and an above average rental!

Relaxed Red Barn on Working Farm

My sisters and I loved staying on this working Dairy (etc) Farm! It was so nice to wake up in a peaceful and, for us- - because we didn’t have the chores connected to this idyll- -relaxed setting. The Red Barn area itself has many the hosts couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. attractions, and is close to Hutch with more.

Unique and inviting stay

We enjoyed our stay at this super clean and comfortable barn. The cows, rabbits and cats were relaxing to watch. The pictures don't do this place justice, the decor was a tasteful and cute country theme. I would like to stress again how clean and functional the place was. It was like we were the first to stay. Also good location and easy drive to the Cosmosphere. The store has a variety of meats, raw dairy and friendly people.

Wonderful

What a wonderful get away from the city. The Borntrager family thought of everything. The outdoor area was great for the kids to play. The farm was fun and the dairy store was delicious. Definitely would stay again.

Beautiful, felt like home

Great place to stay, cozy and perfect for my husband and our 12 year old son. We were in town for NJCAA Nationals Championship so we were in and out a lot but when we were there, it was just what we needed. Individually temperature controlled rooms was wonderful, the clothing steamer was a wonderful added touch while traveling. We were wishing the shower water could have been hotter, but we’re hot tub people too. But everything else was above and beyond what you could ask for in a VRBO, quality and comfort wise, so that says a lot if it’s the only glitch. We would highly recommend staying here!
