That is so wonderful to hear you loved the Cody property and it checked all the right boxes for your family, Dianne! It's always great to bring the pups along on vacation since they are a part of the family too! The property offers some stunning views of the channel, and from the top floor loft you can see the ocean which means everything is a close walk away! We had the carpets cleaned in the unit the day you arrived so hopefully everything was nice and clean for you. **UPDATE: As of 01/25/2022 the property has been outfitted with new living room furniture and the dock was rebuilt after hurricane damages due to hurricane Dorian.** Scott, We sincerely appreciate your feedback and are happy to hear you enjoyed the location of this unit. Unfortunately, the dock was damaged by the previous renter; this has been repaired and we apologize for any inconvenience. We will pass your concerns and suggestions to the owners and work with them to enhance the property. They may be open to make a few updates to the home to better suit renters. I truly apologize, Craig, that you were unhappy at the Cody townhome. I do see where one of our maintenance staff came out immediately to address the issues with the appliances, and I have recorded the issues with the carpets and the bar stools so the property managers can share that with the owner. We are hoping to rectify everything in the very near future and we do hope you will rent from this unit or any of the Bryant rental homes in the near future!

While we regret to hear that your vacation in Wrightsville Beach was less than perfect, we value your feedback and are happy to report that we have acted on it: the dock has been attended to and all boards and nails resecured, and we were able to call back the contractor responsible for the recent roof repairs on the neighboring property to clean up the mess they left behind. As you may imagine, with a property in such a prime location with sound access, within a block of beach access, and with such stunning views requires a fair amount of upkeep during the busy Summer months. We hope you enjoyed the fully updated kitchen, bedrooms, and living room, along with the panoramic sunsets from the deck and crow's nest, and that you and your family will enjoy vacationing in Wrightsville Beach for years to come! **12/22/2020 Update- The dock has had significant repairs/rebuilding and is in good condition.**

Frances, we appreciate your review and feedback for the Cody unit! We are happy you took full advantage of the dock and porch, hopefully you got to see some of those famous WB sunsets from the rocking chairs! Sorry to hear about the issues you experienced. I'm glad maintenance was able to correct them quickly after your reported it. The carpets are permanently stained due to the material being a type of natural grass "sisal", however they are regularly carpet cleaned to keep them sanitized since the unit is pet friendly. Oddly enough they were cleaned the day you checked out as part of its regular maintenance. Beach chairs are not a required item however some owners provide some or guests leave them behind, but they have a high likelihood of walking off between guests or being damaged/removed so we always suggest bringing your own so you are guaranteed to enjoy them. I'm glad the family staying below you allowed you to use some chairs! You and your family are welcome back anytime.

Hi Jodie- We apologize of the unforeseen issues with the refrigerator but happy we could get it replaced. Knowing it was a big incovenience, we are glad that we were able to refund $350 back to you as you were kind to work with us having vendors in/out. Sorry about the jacuzzi tub jets, can happen sometimes if they havent been filled and used in a while, glad you were able to utilize... bet the kids enjoyed! Check in time is 4p for this property, sorry you felt our staff was rude by not letting you check in early, but they have to follow the guidelines due to many factors. Paisley, sounds like Cody checked off all the right boxes for your vacation rental this visit! We are so happy you enjoyed the unit and that stunning channel front view. It's great you were able to bring your dog along - it wouldn't be a family vacation otherwise! We have many pet friendly homes and make sure they stay in good condition with regular carpet cleaning and deodorizing. The unit is just a few strides from downtown WB so food, drinks, and shopping are always just a short walk away. There really is something special about rocking in the chairs watching the boats go by for a change of pace from the beach. The large flat screen in the living room would make for an exciting day in watching sports, and sometimes that is just the kind of vacation we need. It's great to hear you were able to enjoy all that Cody has to offer with the sound front porch with front row seats to WB's famous sunsets! We welcome guest feedback to encourage our property owners to make improvements so we appreciate your comments and will pass them along. The porch door is an Andersen door so it has a special lock for security that you need to lift the handle up to lock the door. I will see about placing some instructions in the unit to operate it. The unit is on a regular pest control schedule as are all our units, but due to the climate of Southeastern North Carolina these "locals" are inherently common. Regular sprays keep them at bay, and while an unwelcomed sight, I am not surprised you saw a few especially since it rained every day during your stay. Hopefully the issues you experienced did not detract from having an enjoyable vacation with your family! We appreciate you renting with our locally owned company and hope you will consider visiting with us again next time! Our friendly reservation staff are always willing to answer any questions you may have about a specific property during the booking process and we encourage you to search our large inventory of vacation rentals for your next beach trip.

Glad to hear you loved the location - being right on the channel is great to watch the sunsets and boats float by, but it's still just a quick walk to the beach access in the other direction. We heavily rely on guest feedback to encourage improvements and I have made note to update the outdoor furniture to pass along to the owner. The carpets are permanently stained unfortunately due to their material but are regularly carpet cleaned, most recently 6/2021 right before your stay actually so they are sanitized at least. We would love to have you stay with us again anytime!
