Great!

Would def stay here again, only issue was the downstairs remotes didn't work, no batteries but could control the TV with our phones, and not sure if it was the cold temps outside, but the heater would only seemed to get the upstairs hot while the downstairs was freezing!

Perfect family memories

Our stay and location wear just perfect! The washer didn't work that good but the dryer was fine. Just took a few extra dry cycles and it was fine. We took a family trip of 11 (plus a baby) the house fit us all comfortably and the location was perfect to let the teenagers go on their own, with a short, convenient walk to the beach with the little ones. Perfect family memories. We can't wait to do it again!

Please re-invest in your beach property!

Reviewer Comments: This place is a great location but needs updating and improvements galore!It was clean and had two decks to sit out on but the furniture looked like a frat house lived in it. Vents, caulking, closet doors look like they've never been updated. A few roaches showed up the last two nights of the week on the left side of the house and under the deck stairs. Fridge had a slow leak and the Bryant Realty fixed it right away. Only one decent tv in the house and the wi-fi only worked downstairs most of the time.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the second year my friends, family, and I rented this property along with it's neighboring property. We loved having a door between the two homes so that it felt more like one space. The house itself is nothing special. Some of the beds could use new mattresses. The dishwasher does a poor to decent job. It was generally clean, but as with many beach rentals, things have been beat up a bit. We love this location and don't feel we need a lot of fancy perks, so we would consider renting here again. Being just a few houses away from the beach and a 5 minute walk to ice cream are the best parts of staying here. The property management staff was easy to deal with and prompt with answering my emails when I was booking.

Great location but a few issues

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was amazing and loved being so close to the beach. The house itself was okay. The popcorn ceiling is peeling and falling down in spots throughout the house. The master bath has a leak below to the kitchen which drips down a cabinet, hits the microwave, and splashed on the floor, making the kitchen floor slick if you’re not careful. We had an internet issue and had to adjust our plans to make sure we were there for the internet company to come fix it. There’s also construction happening two doors down that begins at 8:30 and and lasts all day. Keep this in mind if you want to sleep in or try to relax in the balcony. Again, the location of the house is fantastic but we aren’t sure we will use this company again.

2021 Beach Bacation

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have to say the location of this property was perfect – not a long walk to the beach and the road not allowing public parking was a nice feature so we didn’t have to worry about my grandkids. Other pros of this property are the WIFI and technology seems to work very well, the beds were fairly comfortable, and the bathrooms appears to be clean and tidy.However, this unit is in dire need of a refresh. The drawers in the kitchen squeak VERY loud when you pull them out. The top drawer where the silverware is located comes completely out if you open it more than 1/2 way. The ceilings in about every room have water damage and the drywall is cracked and is falling. There are several closet doors that are not functioning properly (have come out of the track). Several of the counter tops are separating from their base due to water damage. We did have an issue with the sink in the King bedroom where it wouldn’t drain, and large black particles were coming up when you turned on the water. We called maintenance several times and explained the situation and were told they would send someone out. That was Saturday morning. They finally showed up on Sunday afternoon. This property could definitely benefit from a refresh. Would not rent again unless it was refreshed.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was great, but not the nicest property. The oven and dishwasher didn’t work. We were warned about the oven as we drove down. There was a brand new dishwasher in the living room when we arrived. We obviously arrived during some renovations. We did not wish to have maintenance performed while we were there (especially during covid) so the property management company removed the new dishwasher and we were of course left with the broken one that they meant to replace. The replacement toaster oven was not large enough to hold any of the pans in the kitchen. We told property management co and they bought a new pan for us. It also was too large. Oh and only three of the 4 burners worked on the stovetop.The beds were all very old. There were definite body-indentations. The bedroom on the main level likely has mold, as I woke with a sore throat the the two nights I spent in there. Given the age of the house, and the fact that a hurricane whipped through wrightsville two of the last years, the house has obviously sustained a lot of moisture. The Ac units on the top floor would leak condensation onto the beds. I don’t think there is enough insulation in the house for them to work properly. The two bedrooms on the upper level don’t have adequate curtain coverage to keep out the morning light. The sun shines bright at 6am! On the plus side, the location can’t be beat. Also, there is an outdoor shower with heated water. That was so luxurious! We love wrightsville beach and plan to come back and visit soon. If this is the only property available, I might consider renting it again (even with all its downfalls). I just wouldn’t sleep on the main level. I’d also check to make sure all utilities work! It’s most important during covid times to have a functioning oven.

We enjoy this quick watch to the beach or the sound. Amazingly, E. Henderson was more subdued and not noisy this year! One large waterbug and one roach noted, not an infestation and to be expected in this climate.

The laundry area kinda smelled funny. My biggest gripe is that it says there is occupancy for 11. It sleeps 9, the dining table seats 8, and the living room furniture seats 7. If I were looking at this property I wouldn’t consider if you have more than 7 or 8. It is too small for many more people than that. Also, the outdoor shower isn’t enclosed. I was expecting more than a spigot up high. We love Wrightsville and have stayed many times because we have family in the area but we won’t be renting this property again.

Reviewer Comments: All in all, this was a great house, however, you can tell it is rented throughout the school year by college students, or so we were told. TV broke on Wednesday, and even though we called and put in a service ticket on line, we never did get a replacement tv and when you have a house full of teenagers, it can be challenging when the tv doesn't work for 1/2 the week. no communication as to when we would get a new tv, but it did not happen before we checked out on Saturday.

duplex at the beach

I am not sure if us booking it last minute was the issue but the place was not very clean. There was trash in the bathrooms, hair on the beds, and sticky residue on the countertops and tops of the furniture. The website also said that it was a king, queen, full and a twinIt is actually 2 queens, 2 full and a twin. The master bedroom queen headboard was broken and the mattress on the full bunk was stained pretty bad. Another puzzling question- there were wet spots on the carpet just outside of each bathroom????I would recommend this place but would suggest- running silverware through first thing, bring your own mattress protectors and clorox wipes. You can't beat the location and it was a quiet safe spot.
