this was a quick family weekend trip for a grandchild's birthday. The home was very close to the beach, clean and provided all that we needed for a wonderful time! Bryant Realty did a great job informing us of all we needed to know in a timely manner :-) The perfect weather was an added bonus.

This rental is a great value at the heart of Wrightsville Beach. Clean and comfortable. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The unit is very close to the beach and you can see and hear the ocean from either of the two decks.

We love the location. This was our 3rd time to stay at this property. It is close to our son’s house near Wilmington so he, our daughter in law and 3 year old grandson can visit us and enjoy the beach. Close to grocery stores and restaurants.

Although it is a little dated, the property was well maintained, and had an amazing location! There is enough room to get 2 cars under the house, and a shared driveway in which you can fit up to 2 more. The kitchen was well equipped and allowed us to cook several meals. Overall, we would definitely rent this location again!

Needs updated

I felt the listing needs updated pictures. It smelled mildewy. The left side of the kitchen sink is unusable because the drain pipes are rusted out. There was not enough towels for all 8 of us. Shower in Master bed bathroom really could use some updating you have to fight the knobs to get them on and i do believe the kids said the downstairs was also like that. I don't feel like i got what i paid for. Could be a wonderful place with some good cleaning and a few updates.

Good location

We appreciated being so close to the beach and not having to cross a busy road. The house fit is perfectly with great-grandma on the main level while the rest of us our bedrooms upstairs. Could have replaced the two barstools with regular chairs for better seating around the table.

Great location

We loved being so close to the beach and the pier. The property itself is in need of some updating and repair. The rug looked new but the kitchen was dingy and disorganized. The deck from the master BR had a nice view of the ocean and sunsets. The lower level shower handle was hard to adjust making for either a very hot or very cold shower. Overall we had a nice experience but the next time we go I'd look for a place with a more updated kitchen.

Great Location

Location can’t be beat unless you’re literally on the beach. Less than half a block to the ocean was wonderful. When we arrived the house itself was less than clean. We called Bryant Real Estate and they immediately came to do more cleaning and were very nice. I called them later in the week when I found a dead cockroach on the kitchen floor and several behind a chair we moved. Again they promptly came over and sprayed. Also said they were already on a pest management schedule but that the area had a lot of bugs. Had sufficient space with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Beds were comfortable. Nice to have a washer and dryer. Overall the whole place could use a lot of updating. A window was broken and was boarded up but more of an aesthetic issue than safety. The window has been on back order since March so will hopefully be replaced soon. There was no blender. Actually bought a good one at Walmart for $16. Overall had a great time! Go to Tower 7 for the best shrimp tacos ever!

I usually never write a bad review. But this property is very misleading with the photos. We walked into plywood on windows with a sign saying “ danger do not come near window, fall risk“ because this window is on the second floor in the living room. Actually it’s the largest window in the condo.The back exit the property was bolt locked.. If there was a fire there was only one way out of this property. They are definitely health and safety concerns with this property.When we contacted Bryant real estate of Wrightsville Beach., the property manager, we were told that the window had been broken for a year. And that we should’ve been notified about the property‘s condition before our stay. Bryant real estate also told us that they can’t keep up with all of their properties to know The specific condition of each property. We were not given alternative place to stay.We never received any communication from Bryant Real estate. I placed a water bottle on an end table and the end table collapsed.The furniture is in very poor condition. The kitchen table is way too big for the area and it’s was being held together by an extra leaf for stability. The plaster is coming off the ceiling in the bathrooms. All of the beds need to be replaced. Several of our family members left early because the beds were so worn and uncomfortable to sleep in. The Intake vent going up the stairs for the air conditioner was filthy. I mean black with dirt. The TVs in the upstairs bedrooms did not work. There were no hangers in the closets.The outdoor faucet was broken. None of the Patio furniture Seen in the pictures were on site when we were arrived to this property. The furniture that was there was old with paint chipping and splintering wood.The property states enough room for 10 people but really it’s only comfortable for six. The only good thing about this property is the walk was from minutes from the beach. I would highly recommend calling Bryant real estate of Wrightsville Beach and getting in writing that this Property has either had repairs or You see current pictures of what you are renting for the week. The pictures of this property need to be updated. This is actually false advertising on VRBO. We asked to be moved. Bryant real estate told us if we rented another property then we possibly would have to pay for two properties. This is the worst property we have rented on VRBO. We attempted to call Vrbo and lost connection twice with the representative.

Beach House

A wonderful getaway to beat the Illinois blues! Kitchen was well stocked with necessities, beds and pillows were comfy, and the young ones enjoyed their time in the surf. The rental company answered my questions promptly and professionally. We will stay here again..

Condition of everything inside was below expectation, old and not kept well, very worn out. Balconies didn't have any covers so they were useless during the day as the sun burned on them. Furniture was very old. AC filter vent was covered with about an inch of dust. It probably haven't been cleaned in ages. I am sure filter hasn't been replaced about the same time.

Economy listing comes with comprimises

It was a nice place, very clean, pictures were accurate. Ratings are accurate to our expectations, did not expect luxury accommodations. Would have liked a small table on balcony, the refrigerator door had to be pushed to close tight, but mostly the beds were somewhat Spartan - master queen w/no box springs, one full, one twin, one "futon" to sleep two and a bunk bed.

The unit needs some attention

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I have stayed at rentals with Bryant for at least 10 years. It is clear that the between guest cleanup has gone downhill. The not very clean dishes were still wet in the dishwasher,the dishes in the cabinets were in disarray and some were greasy. The main floor bathroom appeared clean but with a distinct smell of vomit. When I mentioned this to the office, no response. I guess I'm supposed to clean the floor on arrival? I have stayed in the Ramsey West Unit in the past. East unit is showing signs of decline: The faucets of kitchen and main bath spray water like a firehose, hard to have slow water flow. The kitchen cabinets inside are splintering and the only cutting board is a not very sanitary pull out.There is a tree branch scraping against the main floor bedrm window that needs trimming.There are no mirrors in the main bdrm, 3 people have to share the bathroom mirror.I well know the set up from many years, but don't want to start my vacation cleaning up!Great location and E. Henderson was happily more quiet the week we stayed.

Didn't hate it but probably won't stay there again

Reviewer Comments: This is the 9th year in a row my family and close friend have rented through Bryant. We have always been happy with the rentals and never ruled out renting a property again. However, we will not stay at 13 E Henderson #2 again. We had a much better experience on the other side of the duplex. In #2, there were lots of roaches, the appliances were outdated, the outdoor hose didn't work, the outdoor shower was difficult to turn off on and off, the stove burners were uneven, the oven ran hot, the master bathroom fan didn't work sometimes, some of the refrigerator shelves were broken, the outdoor grill was suboptimal at best, the mattresses were not good and the backyard and underneath the back steps were extremely untidy.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was the second year my friends, family, and I rented this property along with it's neighboring property. We loved having a door between the two homes so that it felt more like one space. The house itself is nothing special. Some of the beds could use new mattresses. The dishwasher does a poor to decent job. It was generally clean, but as with many beach rentals, things have been beat up a bit. We love this location and don't feel we need a lot of fancy perks, so we would consider renting here again. Being just a few houses away from the beach and a 5 minute walk to ice cream are the best parts of staying here. The property management staff was easy to deal with and prompt with answering my emails when I was booking.
