It certainly offers a different experience which helps break up the beach days and it's nice that the beach access is just a block away as well. The unit is one of the oldest here on Wrightsville, but with that history comes comfort and charm! Pamela, it's wonderful to hear that you loved the Parsley cottage during your trip to Wrightsville Beach! This is a well kept, historical property that is full of coastal comfort and charm. The wrap around porch offers a nice place to relax to enjoy that ocean breeze while staying cool in the shade. Despite not having HVAC, there are window units throughout to help keep it comfortable in the summer months as well as plenty of ceiling fans to keep air moving. We appreciate your family choosing to rent with our company and hope to see you back again next time!

Hello, Ms. Cline, and thank you for your review. We absolutely love the Parsley Cottage and are glad that you did, too! Built in 1927, this cottage is a true classic. While you are correct that there is not a central AC system or AC in the common areas of the cottage, we are happy to hear that the bedroom units are working well and keeping the bedrooms cool and comfortable. If the summer heat isn't something you and your family are looking for, we recommend visiting the Parsley Cottage again in late November for the North Carolina Holiday Flotilla! The sound-front access and awesome views from the porch make this a tough location to beat to enjoy all the fun and excitement of Wrightsville Beach's very own holiday boat parade!

I am sorry to hear of the problem you experienced with the cable and internet, as well as the cleanliness issue under the beds. Hello Zachary- thank you for your feedback! We take your comments very seriously, as we do any complaint. When you called about the state of things in the house, we immediately sent housekeeping and maintenance to see about fixing what we could. We would have been happy to move you to another pet-friendly unit (as you had dogs with you), but we had none available, as we discussed. We realize you made your reservation online, and for many people, this is the easiest approach. However, all vacation homes are not created equally. As such, we always recommend potential guests speak with one of our experienced reservationists to find a home that fits their needs. We realize this property offers a unique experience, but we make sure it is apparent in all marketing pictures and descriptions. We were glad you enjoyed our staff, though we apologize that there were issues that needed fixing. However, we take pride in responding to and correcting any and all shortcomings our guests experience. We look forward to providing a better stay for you next time!
