Relaxing Get Away

This condo fit the needs of our family of three perfectly! The unit was very clean and comfortable. The grounds of Sanibel Moorings are gorgeous! We enjoyed the amenities of beach chairs and umbrellas as well as the daily towel exchange. Looking forward to our next trip to Sanibel.

A couple suggestions: another mirror would be nice, only one in the bathroom was slightly inconvenient. There was only 6 plates, so needed to run the dishwasher often. (not a huge deal) Biggest problem: the shades in the condo blocked the sunlight but there was NO privacy at night if the lights were on in the condo. Someone outside could see in plain as day. Being a first floor condo, these shades need to be changed to privacy shades/blinds etc. Staff was friendly and helpful, grills were great to use for steaks. We love Sanibel and will be back!

Reviewer Comments: The vacation exceeded my expectations: not too hot for August, not too many people on the island, property clean/well kept, staff working hard to return the property to pre-Ian, staff quick to respond to problems. No complaints except the following: 1. Would be nice to have a vacuum cleaner to keep floors clean (broom was not sufficient to clean up dog fur), and 2. pet fees are exorbitant. Would like opportunity to reduce charge (my dogs do shed quite a bit, but if a vacuum was available, I’d be able to clean up better). Wish property had a way to refund part of dog fee such as if renters clean up fur and no damage otherwise. Fee is $30 per dog per day x 7 days = $420 +tax, almost $500 per week! I feel taken advantage of because I like my pets with me when I vacation.

Everything was first class from the time we made the first call until we left. The only thing I wish is that Roku directions were available. We have brought our Roku stick both times.

A couple of issues but quickly resolved

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice, updated unit. It was very clean. You can’t beat the location. Quick walk to the beach and quick drive to shops and restaurants. Our unit’s air conditioning wasn’t working when we arrived and they quickly brought a portable unit and got the repairman there that evening. There was an issue with our key getting stuck in our door which took a little longer to get fixed but still was fixed. We have stayed here before and would definitely stay again.

Great Stay at Sanibel Moorings

We were happy to choose Sanibel Moorings for the first time, condo was clean and its location is perfect. Our little one enjoyed the garden a lot and had a lot of fun at the beach and the pool which are steps away from the condo. Staffs were very friendly and helpful, hope to visit again soon!

Clean, quiet, and close to the beach

Check in was a breeze. Our one bedroom condo was perfectly outfitted for the two of us. The beach is steps away from any building on this property. The staff is available for questions by text which is very efficient. I would stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Glad we stayed. Friendly & helpful staff. Gorgeous grounds with very good facilities. Room was clean and nicely appointed. If anything leans against the best rating, it's the bathroom...small and starting to show its age. If we come back to Sanibel we'd give positive consideration to staying at Sanibel Moorings.
