Nice room, great view, great beach

but, the island is in serious REPAIR mode from the hurricane(s). I think the workers outnumber the vacationers.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great. Staff was very attentive and responsive. The only feedback that we have is that the kitchen was very small and cramped to move around in. Also lack of laundry in the unit was inconvenient. We have also stayed at Pointe Santo, so that is our point of comparison. We will probably not rent at Moorings again due to these two concerns.

Reviewer Comments: Condo in need of some maintenance, folding closet doors off track, drawer pulls broken or loose, cabinet door over sink counter falling off hinge, DVD player available not functional. Staying again next year, the condo has an unbeatable location.Sanibel has great restaurants and a great farmer’s market on Sunday. Wildlife refuge is a great place to spend time. Edison Ford museum is close.

February Sanibel Trip

This was our first trip to Sanibel, and we were very happy with everything about our visit. Sanibel Moorings is a great place to stay. The check in was very fast, lots of good information given. The condo was clean, perfect, exactly as given in description. Very good location, close to everything, and right on the beach. The pool was great as well. We had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. Highly recommend!
