Newly constructed arched cabins, are cozy tiny homes perfectly situated for breathtaking views and romantic privacy. Each cabin features a queen-sized bedroom, full bathroom, kitchenette, living area with a sofa and Roku TV, a private deck, fire pit, and an outdoor hot tub. Enjoy 60 acres of hiking trails, scenic benches, and the nearby Toe River. Minutes from the Appalachian Trail and famous gem mines, our historic property blends adventure and tranquility. Perfect for hiking or relaxing. Open floor plan with kitchette, living room, bedroom and full bath.

This is a great getaway location! The lodge is modern, clean, well appointed, and has a fantastic view. The jacuzzi is super clean and roomy, and the fire pit out back is underrated. I’m definitely going to return. Five stars!

I loved my visit to Candee Mountain Resort. The host Kevin was incredibly welcoming, and I loved having a space to relax with great views, comfortable lodgings and impeccable cleanliness. If you are looking for a hideaway that is 30 minutes from the best hikes in North Carolina and Tennessee then you have found the right place! It hit every box for a relaxing, and enjoyable time while also being close to so many great hikes, good food and is far enough off the beaten path that you will not be disturbed.

Peaceful Oasis

Lovely spot in the mountains. If you want to escape and just relax, this is the spot for you. The host, Kevin, was very friendly with helpful tips. Highly recommend and I would love to come back with a group of friends or alone. Stars at night were beautiful.
Firepit with plenty of wood provided.
Great morning coffee views.

Thank-you for your review. A return stay with friends can be special. We continue to build trails to enjoy the stay without the need to get in your car. We have had a few groups rent multiple cabins. They enjoy the camp fires until the wee hours of the morning!

Great cabin!

This cabin is perfect. We loved everything about it! It looks charming on the outside and everything inside was amazing, too! The hot tub is so nice! We enjoyed this place so much and can’t wait to come back!

Lovely stay in the mountains

Beautiful cabin nestled in the mountains. We especially loved the beautiful view and spending time in the hot tub. Kevin was great, very quick and responsive. We will be staying again soon!

Wonderful stay

We had a weekend getaway and had a superb stay. Everything is clean and easily accessible. A cooktop would be nice where the dishwasher is but an electric skillet is provided. The hottub worked well and was a nice touch after a full day of hiking. We would stay again. Only gave location 4 stars because it was a little far from our activities. But nice, secluded, and quiet.

Extended my visit

After the first day of my first visit, I extended my stay another 3 days. Sitting in the hot tub, listening to the birds and woodpeckers off in the distance. This place is 100% for relaxation. Highly recommended.

Awesome anniversary

This cabin was just as pictured. Very private and beautiful view. We saw turkeys and deer daily. We enjoyed walking to the river a couple of times a day. The hot tub and view were amazing. The owners are very attentive and helpful. We would not hesitate to come back and hope to be able to return soon!

Kevin is a wonderful host! He is so responsive and helpful with places to go in the area and recommendations. The property was adorable and very clean with all necessary amenities, would definitely love to come back and see it in a different season!

Great stay in beautiful home!

We LOVED or visit! Everything was just as described and communication with the host was amazing! Not only is the home beautiful but the views are outstanding! You can tell that Kevin and his family have really put a lot of love into the home. They made suggestions for activities and also places to eat and shop. We will definitely be back soon!

Amazing weekend getaway!

My wife and I stayed at the property for a weekend getaway to the mountains and were not disappointed. The hot tub was just outside the door and overlooked views of the nearby mountains. We also took advantage of the fire pit for a relaxing night in with all of the necessary wood and starter stuff provided. We took a short hike along the property and overall just really enjoyed our time. The rental itself was comfortable and had many thoughtful amenities included. There wasn’t a stove, so we just made sure to bring items that could be cooked in the combo oven/air fryer or the microwave. There was a smart tv where we could watch a movie at night. The host was welcoming and extremely communicative. All in all, it was an excellent stay, and we look forward to returning in a different season to see what all has changed.
