Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our stay. The rental Management company was great to work with, gave good instructions and the staff was friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and enjoyable. The Edelweiss location is close to Bald Mountain resort and the views were spectacular. The Homeowners and management were a bid nosey and bothersome at the pool and hot tub area, seems they were worried we snuck in or something.. at one time we had three different people asking us what our room number was and when one of our people didn't remember the room # they were extra rude and unprofessional. We understand they we not the property owners or rental management, just over protective homeowners. overall though, we enjoyed our stay and didn't let it slow us down. Had a great time!!

Spring skiing with my family

You can’t get better than this location! Right across the street from Warm Springs lodge. Pool was heated and open for the kids to play in during the winter which was great. Queen bed was too hard for my liking, queen upstairs was a squeaky futon. The 2 twins in the loft were ok. A little too many host’s personal items were in the place which didn’t leave much room for food, ski gear, etc.

Directly across the street from the chairlift and a good value. My son and I enjoyed everything. I wouldn't recommend for beginner skiers because it'steep.

Great location but very small unit

The good things: Great location across the street from the Warm Springs lodge and lifts. Good, well supplied kitchen and nice bathrooms. Underground parking which was nice as our car was never covered with snow. The bad things: The unit sleeps 6 but 4 of those beds are a double and two twins in a loft with little privacy. The part of the loft with the double bed (not a queen bed) has a sloping ceiling which makes that part of the loft very claustrophobic. The bedroom that has the queen bed is so small that to get around the foot of the bed one had to turn sideways to fit. The dining area has a table with only 4 chairs but the unit can sleep 6. The dining/living area was very small. We had 4 adults and it was tight in the dining/living room. I can't imagine having 6 people in the unit. There is a ski locker in a room off of the garage assigned to each unit but the locker for our unit had a lock on it. Clearly the unit's owners keep their skis in the locker. That meant that we had to store our skis in the front closet which was very small because one half was locked.

Annual ski trip

Great place to land as we skiied at Sun Valley for 2 days. The location to the lifts could not be beaten, truly walked across the street. The condo was clean and appeared as advertised. Highly recommend.

The property is old but very well maintained. I would definitelystay again and recommend staying here to my friends. An elevator would be a nice addition!!

Edelweiss Stay

We found the condo cozy and comfortable once inside the unit. Absolutely no complaints about the unit itself. I think it is worth noting there are tons of stairs and a long hallway and another flight of stairs to access the condo. I was 3 weeks post hip replacement surgery and had I know the number of stairs I would need to climb and hallway needed to walk before getting to the unit, we would have chosen another place. Again, once inside, it was a lovely place.

Reviewer Comments: Our primary motivation in renting this condo was proximity to the ski mountain, and this condo is located incredibly conveniently to the warm springs lodge and lifts. Parking is right in front. The condo has plenty of cookware, and our kids enjoyed the loft. Note one of the beds is more like a folded out futon, but luckily we were so tired at night we slept well.

Ski week

Great location across the street from warm springs lifts. Only improvement would be a key pad entry instead of having to go to the office for the key. Spiral stair case is a head bump hazard.

Convenient location

We loved the location of the property although were dissapointed with the green non working hot tub and animal hair everywhere in hallways, stairwells, etc. Great for skiing and walking to apre skis. The condo was lovely itself.

Excellent Location for Skiing and Shuttle to Town

Getting the luggage up the winding staircase was no problem at all and there was plenty of space for us to hang out after a great day of skiing. The location directly across the street from the ski lodge/lift was perfect so we didn't have to load our skis up on the shuttle every day. It was also an easy walk to the shuttle for dinner in town. The master bedroom is a little small for a King bed but we managed. I highly recommend this condo.Finding transportation from the office to the condo was a little challenging so plan ahead if you don't have a car. The office was closed for lunch when we got there, so we had our airport drive drop us at a lunch place, then had to find another taxi to the condo. So, be prepared if you arrive between 12 and 2.
