Quiet and peaceful!

We had a lovely time getting away to a small, quiet retreat in Northern Michigan. Sonny was responsive and helpful, and made this place a beautiful place to stay. Would recommend, and would love to come back again!

A fair deal

Comfortable, clean in a nice quiet wooded area and the communication with the owner was fantastic.Only downside (and not huge) was it was hard to get a cell signal inside and the well water smells like sulfur. But the price is very fair.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed here for a peaceful, long weekend away. Very clean, well organized, stocked with all the essentials you’d need, and all communication was clear. It was easy to get to, and on a quiet road. We could easily make it to Thompsonville, Manistee, and Interlochen all within a less than 40 minute drive.

Cute cabin

The cabin was very nicely decorated with everything we could need. The hosts were very communicative and helpful. The only thing that surprised me was that the fire ring is in the front yard, so be prepared to sit next to a dirt road if you want to enjoy it.

Yes, very clean. The windo shades in the main room did not completely block out the view of the inside...they appear to bed dish towels hung on a curtain rod that would not completely close. Very pet friendly and comfortable for out pet. The TV did not get any TV, it has DVD capablility. The DVDs were mostly kids and early teens so if you want an older viewing, need to bring some DVDs from home. Everything worked well, heater ;very adequate and a nice setting to the East. Easy access to many hiking trails and some food supplies.

Yes, appreciated the early check in.Beds were great.Only flaw was the TV. It was set up to only play DVDs and we could not get that to function. So, we went to the local restaurant / bar and caught up on some sports on TV there. Very convenient as location was on a main snow mobile trail which was our main activity.
