Great house! Only issue was the dishwasher wasn’t working. Would rent again!

Hi Cindy, Thanks for your review! The dishwasher was an easy fix, as it simply had a clogged drain line from excess food being placed in the dishwasher. We hope you had a great time and come back again soon!

Great place to stay in the Destin area! Within walking distance to the beach. Beautiful and well-maintained rooms. We came to celebrate Thanksgiving, and everyone from great grandma to the grandkids had a great time. Thanks!

Parking is a real issue! There is only room for one smaller vehicle while using the golf cart. We came with four vehicles, three being large SUVs. The guys had to part away from the property. None of the ice makers worked, so we had to bring ice in. The refrigerators and stove were just really dirty. The kitchen was stocked with pans and things that needed to be thrown away. No pitchers to make tea etc. The pictures make it look like the entrance to the beach is just right there at the property when its a good walk and across a main street. When using the golf cart there is really no place to let people off at the gate. Its a very busy and dangerous highway. The parking lot was almost always full. Electrical issues - outlets throughout the property did not work as well as some lights. We had to set the microwave and toaster on a chair to use them on another wall. The TVs were a big issue. No remote in the biggest master at all. Especially for people of age, I hated not having easy access to the TV in the evening. Some of the locks didn't work on the doors which created some issues with our little ones. It turned out the back of the property presented secluded was a busy highway. No views of beach out the windows at all. Because of Betha coming in and we couldn't go to the beach our kids did use the pool table, and my son got the TV working in the living room for the rest of us. The size of the house was good for our crew, but the two families that had to share a bath-bad.

Hi Mary Ann, Thanks for your review! Before your stay, when you asked about bringing extra vehicles we politely advised that we do not offer parking for more than 2 large vehicles, which is also included in our listing details & welcome message when booking. We do have fully functional ice makers, to include the freezer as well as a countertop ice maker that you would have needed to add water to operate. We do also have a very well stocked kitchen, so I'm very confused at your comment there. We do not advertise being beachfront, and the short walk/golf cart ride is very safe on the scenic beach road-no major busy highways to cross here, or anywhere close to the property. Our team tested all of the outlets in the property and did not find any issues whatsoever. In addition, we found all tvs and remotes to be fully functional. For future trips, we highly recommend reaching out to your host for assistance, as that's what we're here for. While I believe your frustration may have been that it rained during your trip, our actual location would not have any relevance to that. Best of luck in future travels!
