Take a boat tour of the canals: Aveiro is known as the “Venice of Portugal” because of its picturesque canals. Taking a boat tour is a great way to see the city from a different perspective
2.Visit the Aveiro Cathedral: The Aveiro Cathedral is a beautiful example of Baroque architecture and is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks
3.Explore the beaches: Aveiro is located on the coast and has several beautiful beaches nearby. Praia da Barra and Costa Nova are two popular options
4.Try the local cuisine: Aveiro is known for its seafood, particularly its eles and cod. Be sure to try some of the local dishes while you’re in town.
