A quintessential 1946 duplex cottage on the outside, The Bungalow Lounge has been fully transformed into a modern coastal sanctuary on the inside.



The Space:

Beautifully renovated ground-floor unit in a historic cottage duplex, featuring a private entrance and exclusive outdoor space. Thoughtfully designed for privacy, this unit’s deck, patio, fire pit, and side yard are completely separate from the upper Loft unit, with dedicated fencing and gated access ensuring you won’t share any outdoor areas with other guests. Ideal for those seeking a peaceful, private retreat just steps from the beach.



This stylish one-bedroom unit offers additional sleeping arrangements in the living area, a full bathroom, and a well-appointed kitchen with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Step outside to enjoy the expansive outdoor living space, featuring comfortable seating, a fire pit, and a private outdoor shower—perfect for relaxing after a day at the beach.



Located on Wrightsville Beach’s main strip, The Lounge is just a 3-minute walk to the ocean and within close proximity to Johnny Mercer’s Pier, as well as local shops and dining.



The Neighborhood:

Nestled along the quiet north end of Wrightsville Beach, 1502 North Lumina Avenue offers a perfect blend of laid-back coastal living and convenience. Just steps from the ocean and the sound, the area is ideal for beachgoers, surfers, and paddleboarders alike. Enjoy scenic walks on “The Loop,” easy access to local shops and restaurants, and a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere that captures the charm of classic beach town living.

This bungalow was perfect for us! We loved having different places in the backyard to relax- the lounge chairs, the table under the deck, the hammock, the fire pit, and the picnic table were great. The closeness to the beach was amazing. The bungalow was cute and cozy. Highly recommend!

Great spot by the beach!

This was a perfect spot for a mini moon post our wedding. Living room and kitchen actually felt bigger than expected and the outdoor space is perfect for enjoying the nice weather.

Had a wonderful time. This is a great place for one or two people and dogs. Very close to beach which is beautiful-one house away from beach access point. The yard was a very nice size (my dog made a squirrel friend) and cozy and private. The host was extremely helpful and responsive. I definitely want to go back!

Cute Little Bungalow short walk to everything.

great location near the beach, walking distance to night life. Unit was small, but just what I needed for one person. There was a lot of noise from the second unit upstairs, can hear people walking around, etc. Bathroom was very nice, shower was great after a cold early morning kayak in the intercoastal.

Graduation weekend visit

My husband and I stayed here while in town for my niece’s graduation from UNCW. The place was clean, well stocked, comfortable and stylish. The outside space is perfect to have that beach feel and is very spacious. The location was perfect and so close to the ocean and everything on Wrightsville Beach. The owners were great and communicated quickly and effectively. We will rent again for sure!
