The Sunshine House

Centrally located in the heart of Sequim and fully renovated, our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom home is perfect for peace and privacy while enjoying your visit to the Olympic Peninsula.

Just 1 block to the nearest coffee shop and all the best restaurants and shops within 5 blocks.

Visit the beach, go for a bike ride on the Olympic Discovery Trail or venture off for a hike in the Hoh Rainforest or to one of the nearby waterfalls or lakes.

During the off season, we offer weekly and monthly discounts.

The living room and both bedrooms have smart TVs in them so you can log into your preferred accounts or use ours.

The kitchen is fully equipped and has basic oils, seasonings and condiments available for you to use. We also feature our favorite amenity - a popcorn maker - so you can enjoy freshly popped popcorn just the way you like it.

The dining table has 6 chairs and there is a leaf that allows extending it for 8 chairs comfortably. 2 extra chairs are available in the laundry room.

The master bedroom has a king size bed and its own bathroom. There is a ceiling fan and the heat in the room can be set separately from the rest of the house if desired. This room also features a spacious, dedicated workspace.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed, a ceiling fan and the heat in the room can be set separately from the rest of the house if desired. There is also a door to the back yard from this room.

Both bathrooms have bright and night lighting options, a fan (when you want it) and bluetooth speakers for playing your tunes. We provide shampoo, conditioner and lotion just in case you forget your own.

There is a washer/dryer with detergent and dryer sheets made available for your convenience. A broom w/ dustpan and towels for cleaning up spills are also available in the laundry room. Most cleaning products can be found under the kitchen sink except for those that are specific to the bathrooms which will be found in the bathroom cabinets.

The backyard has a covered seating area and table as well as a propane BBQ.

Everything in the house will be accessible for your use while you are our guest. The shed will NOT be accessible to guests.

The living room has a comfortable, queen size sofa bed. The linens and pillows for it are located in the closet of the second bedroom.

Sunshine in Sequim

We stayed at Heather and Rey’s place while we explored the Olympic Peninsula. The house was great for our needs and we loved what we found in the area and in the National Park. I highly recommend Graysmarsh Farm for u-pick berries. We picked the best strawberries abs raspberries and made 6 quarts of preserves to take home!

Sunshine House

The Sunshine House is the perfect location for a short Sequim stay. Close to the Olympic National Park and a drive to Hurricane Ridge, also an easy walk into town - don't miss the delicious pastries at Riverhouse Cafe, and Essence Coffee - a local coffee roaster. The Sunshine House has a fully stocked kitchen, lots of puzzles and games to enjoy!

Lovely Home for our Family visit

Wonderful family getaway!

The house was awesome, it's obvious the hosts put a lot of effort into making it welcoming! There were games / puzzles for the kids, a bed, toys and dishes for the dog. Sequim is great, so much to do and see!

Overall great and Heather & Ray are kind and responsive. If I were to nip pick, the kitchen is a bit outdated that makes cooking a bit tricky but this is just a minor thing out of overall great experience!

The house is quite cute and spacious. We didn't have pets but the host provides stuff even for your 4 legged friend. The rooms were comfortable and well supplied. The host kept great communication with us. Highly recommend this place. If i had to make a suggestion, in the guest room maybe put a bench for luggage. In my mind that's very minor

Great Stop

Darling house with everything you need! Location is a quick drive to Dungeness Spit Trail and Olympic Game Farm. Easy walk to coffee and treats.

We enjoyed staying here because the dog was able to go out in the fence backyard. The neighborhood was quiet and close to restaurants and stores. We went to Dungeness Spit and other places on the water. The Internet worked well and we were able to watch YouTube and Netflix on the TV with our accounts. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen had a good variety of items to be able to cook anything you wanted. We would stay here again.

Short but Sweet

We only stayed for a night but we had a good night sleep and a relaxing morning. Close to excellent restaurants, and my dog felt like an honored guest with the special basket of dog items.

Perfect little getaway!

We absolutely loved the Sunshine House. The property is spotless and the hosts have thought of every amenity we might need. The hosts responded immediately and communicated clearly with us. We appreciated that the location was within easy walking distance to the town and shops.

The house was cute and comfy. The backyard was fully fenced but there were foxtails that were not mowed. They were still green for my stay, but could be a problem for dogs if not mowed. As always Sequim was great!

Cute house with a nice interior. Comfortable beds. The backyard is not well kempt so the grass is not green like in the photos. There’s also some sort of water coming up in one spot creating a mud trap.

Sweet house with EVERYTHING you’ll need!

This house was perfectly set up for our 2 couples traveling together. Everything was thoroughly marked leaving it easy to find. The washer/dryer room was so convenient and worked perfectly. We highly recommend!!!

Pure Sunshine

We loved our stay at the sunshine house. We were in Sequim on business and it almost felt like a little vacation because our accommodations were so wonderful. All of the extras like blankets,pots and pans, silverware etc. were well stocked. Our doggies loved the fenced in backyard. Great place to stay. We will definitely stay again on our next business trip.

Beautiful on the inside

It was nicely decorated. It had good bath products. Everything worked. It was fun to call out to Alexa and have her play your favorite songs. The location is great. The only problem is that it smelled like mildew

My husband and I pride ourselves on making our guests feel comfortable, just as we appreciate when we travel. We stay for extended periods at our own rentals to make sure they are equipped with everything we would want when we are there and ask for feedback from our guests in case there's anything we didn't already think of.

We chose this location because it is easy to find and easy to walk to the best spots in downtown while also being quiet. It is the perfect distance between the highway and downtown so you can avoid traffic when there are events in town but be close enough to walk or bike to everything easily.

We have a particularly large back yard and lots of parking space in front. Our living room is spacious and comfortable for pets and/or kids and everything is on one level which makes it safe and comfortable to access despite any potential limitations.
