House South Venice, 4.99*'s for a reason-comfortable @ the heart of Florida Life

sift the sands for shark teeth by The Fishing Pier, browse the shops of historic Venice, bike a local trail or two, take a dip in our private pool, then meander right back to Venice Beach for a fabulous dinner at Sharkey's On The Pier. Later, you can go back in our pool for a moon~drenched swim

That's just Day 1...

Breeze up to Siesta Key Beach, the best beach in America, for Drum Circle on Sundays to celebrate life with the setting sun. This is a must see event, free and open to all...

Enjoy seeing egrets in the yard in the morning and scan the afternoon skies for a glimpse of osprey settling down at dusk...natural beauty abounds. House South Venice is just two hours north of Everglades City, an hour south of Tampa Bay. This is the place to just up soak up the peace and magic of Florida Life.

We can be flexible, so feel free to ask for thoughts, wishes and needs.
After our first two seasons, we are 5-star only in the reviews.

We had an amazing stay! The home was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The pool was crystal clear and incredibly well cared for. Our host was so kind, responsive, and communicated exceptionally well throughout our stay, making the entire experience seamless. Very well kept, clean and organized house. Some what close to the beaches in the area, about 15 mins to Venice Beach or Englewood Beach.Walmart, Publix and Costco are near by for your groceries and many place to eat no matter what you're in the mood for. Our go to place was Pineapple Tequila, but we drive as far as Sarasota for dinner. The sunset view after dinner at Sharkys was awesome.

At House South Venice, we love feedback! We understand the nuisances that interfered with your with your stay and humbly apologize for our having delivered our first less-than-five star review in three years of operations. Every detail you brought to our attention has been shared with the professionals that make the House what it is and I am personally traveling to the property this weekend to assure all those details are addressed. We will change our "5's for a reason" header as well. Thank you for being a VRBO customer and a House South Venice guest!

This property is wonderful and the location is perfect. Close to several beaches, downtown Venice, dining and entertainment. The house is clean and extremely well kept. The lanai and pool are fantastic. Lots of pool toys/supplies for adults and kids. The garage was wonderful to help during the heat and rain. So many beach supplies, we were thoroughly impressed! Kitchen has everything you need. Pet friendly and good yard for them to stretch their legs. Quiet neighborhood. The owner is very responsive to all questions and needs, so easy to communicate with. Cannot wait to plan our return trip!

We absolutely LOVED our stay! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect. The property is beautiful, well maintained, exceptionally clean, and comfortable. We needed for nothing during our 2 week stay!! The check-in, communication with the host, all outstanding and seamless!! The fenced back-yard was safe for our 13.5 lb dog, Daisy. The lanai and pool the best place to relax and recharge. The pool, spotlessly clean and fun for Daisy and her 'parents'. It is obvious that so much thought and care went into making this a very special place and we could not have asked for a better experience. We hated to leave and would come back in a heartbeat. 5 stars for everything--- we HIGHLY recommend this property! Thank you to the amazing hosts for making our stay so wonderful and perfect --- we felt right at home! Daisy, Deb and Alan

Great place to stay. Very clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Plenty of beach supplies(wagon, chairs, toys, shark tooth sifters, plenty of towels). The pool was so enjoyable, we used it every evening. The owner was so pleasant and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

We had another wonderful time here. The pool was so enjoyable (we loved eating on the lanai and just sitting by the pool soaking up the beautiful FL sunshine), and the fenced in yard was perfect for our fur-baby. The location is great as it's only minutes to different beaches, restaurants, and downtown. Fritz was a delight and responded very quickly with thorough answers (he has a great sense of humor!). We are already looking forward to a return trip! Thank you Fritz!!
