The property was spacious and had a lot of extras like beach chairs and toys, and the AC was perfect! Walking to the beach or pool took a few minutes. The ocean view was great!

This property was very clean and beautiful. The host was easy to communicate with and was always very pleasant. Parking was easy and the access to the beach and pool were great. I would highly recommend this condo for a relaxing stay.

We had an amazing weekend here! The view was perfect and the condo was clean and well kept! They provided so many extra things (beach towels, umbrella, cooler, etc) that made it easy to pack less. Teresa was very responsive all weekend and even took time to get us an extra parking pass! Would definitely stay here again!

The place was exactly as advertised. Great location. Enough room for the 6 of us to relax and not be on top of each other when hanging out after a relaxing day on the beach.

Great place

The place was great. The pool wasn’t opened yet for the season which was a bummer with small children. They have games and a few toys for when kids stay there. The hosts were wonderful and easy to work with and get ahold of when needed! Definitely recommend this place

Excellent Place to stay

This Condo really impresses, with its Ocean view, plenty of windows on the ocean side of the condo, open floor plan and plenty of seating out on the balcony looking out at the ocean. The condo was exceptionally clean and organized. The owners were very accommodating and responded right away when I had questions regarding our stay. I would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Experience!

This place is great!! Comfortable, convenient, clean -- everything we were looking for. The owners do a terrific job anticipating guests' needs, and when I had a question, they were immediately responsive and helpful. There's a great view of the ocean from the porch, the amenities were excellent, and the beds were comfy. My kids loved the pool and playground. I'd definitely stay here again!

Mini family vacation

We took a short vacation to take our 2 year old to see the beach for the first time. The condo was AMAZING! Fully stocked from kitchen utensils and supplies to extra beach essentials! The condo was very clean welcoming. Communicating with the Teresa was so easy! She made sure you were comfortable the whole trip! Every minute of our stay was so enjoyable! We loved staying here!

Our stay was absolutely fantastic! Teresa was great at communicating with us ahead of the trip, just ahead of our arrival, and with a quick check-in after we had a chance to settle in. The space was exactly as the pictures show. Everything was incredibly clean and comfortable. They did not miss any details when setting up the space for a family vacation. The location cannot be beat. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and seeing the ocean. The beach access is right at the property’s edge and the pool is very nice, too. I cannot recommend this place enough!

North Topsail Getaway

Pelicans Retreat was the perfect place for our weekend beach getaway! Everything was fresh and new in the condo due to recently being renovated. Three separate bedrooms worked nicely for our family. Amazing ocean / beach views from the living area, dining area, and kitchen! Convenient beach access just a few steps away. We definitely plan to stay here again!

Contacted host about non working tv said check the batteries in the remote which was already done before contacting host. The guest room the tv did not work or another light. Had several power surges and needed to reset breaker. Lights in quest bathroom was not operational. I would have thought their maintenance staff would have made sure everything was up to snuff. Overall it was ok

Thank you for your feedback. We responded promptly during the stay to assist with troubleshooting and also offered an alternative TV from another guest room that could easily be moved and used. One lamp issue was resolved by plugging it in, and the bathroom light issue was due to a burned-out bulb, with replacement bulbs kept onsite for guest convenience. We appreciate the feedback and have since replaced the guest room TV.

Just What I Needed

My stay at The Pelican Retreat was exactly what I sought. The location was perfect and had beautiful water views from both sides of the condo. The condo was nicely decorated, very clean and had everything that I needed for my stay. Teresa was awesome and really made sure my stay was completely comfortable. 10/10, would recommend! I’d definitely book there again.
