You cant ask for a better host when it comes to communication. The property is open and comfortably hosted my family. The kitchen appliances and gadgets were adequateThe beds were comfy The morning sunrises is just a 40 sec walk across the street. Property has a few cool adds like the porch swings and really was enjoyable.

Amazing property! The balcony and views were perfect, especially for this bookworm! Nice and homey with ample room for a family of 5 dog to spread out and relax!

Felt like home

This place felt like home! It had the necessities and plenty of room to spread out between the front balcony and the screened in porch at the back. The teens in our group loved spending time on the sound side as well as the beach. It was close to major shopping areas, but not too close! I can’t wait to go back!

Girls trip

Great place to stay. Nice ocean view from most anywhere in the house. The screened back porch was the best for morning coffee and chats. Just a couple of steps to the beach and a little nature walk to the sound. Will definitely try to bring my family to this spot!

Perfect spot by the Beach

The house was perfect, with lots of room and plenty of sleeping arrangements. It’s basically ocean front since there is no house across the street and you have a perfect view of the ocean from the front deck. The back deck was so cozy and relaxing. The hidden gem was the trail to the sound. So peaceful and beautiful. Will definitely plan another stay.

The owner of the property was very helpful and timely in responses. Great ocean views and a very good deal for being so close to the ocean. Cool seeing all the family history of this home too!

End of the summer

Our family loves to stay at Mother Ocean. There is plenty of space for everyone to be together and have their own space. We also love being so close to the beach!

Great weekend getaway

This place had all necessary amenities and was a comfortable getaway. Only inconvenience is the road crossing to access the beach and the speeding cars. Other than that, we will be back!

An old soul type of stay

Second Time at Mother Ocean!

This was our second stay at Mother Ocean and it was just as wonderful this time as it was three years ago!! Steve is a fantastic host and is very responsive and helpful. The private beach access across the street is so convenient and the beach is beautiful and uncrowded. The whole family had a wonderful time looking for shark teeth (we found hundreds in the shell beds directly in front of the house) and just relaxing and enjoying the spectacular view. We will certainly be back a third time!!
