Perfect spring break getaway

great apartment in nice location,perfect for families with kids/teens, excellent kitchen space for easy family meals, clean and modern. Would recommend and stay again.

These condos are a hidden jewel. Except for the loud noise of the upstairs renters, we had an excellent stay.

Just what I needed

So relaxing! A beautiful condo from which we could walk right to the beach. The kitchen was well appointed and the amenities were greatly appreciated. The beds were VERY comfortable. A few minor maintenance issues, but overall a very well maintained if older place. Everyone I encountered was helpful. A bit of confusion over checking out, but I believe it was taken care of. Would highly recommend!

Love Saint Augustine beach!

Our stay was very enjoyable. The unit fit our needs perfectly. The unit was spacious, had a great location and we really enjoyed the rocking chairs on the back porch. The Hibiscus complex was well maintained. The beach was awesome! The walk to the beach for our little ones; ages 2 and 4, was easier with the beach wagon we brought. The beds were very comfortable and the unit had everything we needed except for an internet connection, bummer to use our data. No internet is why our stay only received a 4 out of 5. We are not big television people, so the minimal cable provided was not a problem.

Hibiscus short vacay

Condo was in decent shape, comfortable and pet friendly. Location was excellent & porch with slight ocean view (great ocean breeze in the evening) was a perfect relaxing spot. Easy beach & pool access. Downside was someone forgot to put the keys in the kiosk lockbox (we arrived late evening) so it was a hassle dealing with answering service & waiting for property associate to meet us at kiosk with keys. Also, bed in master is terribly squeaky (bed frame should be changed or tightened). Couldn’t turn over without loud squeaking.

Disappointed

Pros-location is fantastic. This condo complex has three beautiful pools, great beach access, and plenty of parking. It is close to lots of great restaurants and shopping. The private beach access is also nice. Cons: The cleaning of the condo was not good. When we arrived, the floors were dirty. We only received one set (wash cloth, hand towel, & bath towel) per person for the entire week. No beach towels were provided. There is very little insulation between the units. You can hear everything above and beside you-we were on the ground floor. The unit has a nice washer and dryer and nice kitchen appliances. The mattresses were very comfortable!!! The back porch is very private!

Hibiscus B-103

Very nice condo, with quite a few updates. Was surprised to find bunk beds in the second bedroom. Went there with my cousin and our mom's. Mom's got the master suite and we got the bunk beds. Bathrooms could use grab bars in the shower. The treck to the beach was way farther than what was promised. Our mom's walked it once and it wore them out. Definitely not a condo for a more mature population. Wooden walkways also not the greatest for our moms. Overall we did enjoy our stay, but wouldn't go back with our mom's. They also told us there were no beach chairs or an umbrella. There were four beach chairs and an umbrella and a blow up canvas raft and two boogie boards. Would have saved us from renting these prior to our vacation had we known. The photos do not match what is offered.

Disappointed

We have rented many condos located in this property and this one has some issues. One major issue was in January when we reserved the Condo it was listed as pet friendly. We paid a $100 pet deposit and the listing was changed to no pets allowed at some point before our vacation date We would like that refunded since our guests were unable to come because of the change Lots of other issues with the condo. Fans not wired correctly, lights not turning off. Curtains not covering windows. No bathroom fans Keys used but VTrips not aware lost keys not returned and didn’t change locks Had a person return the previous renters lost key to us 2nd Bedroom furniture changed from listing in January Water stains on ceiling in dining room. Just not our best experience

Would stay here again. Wonderful location steps from the beach. Dog and son loved it. Convenient to St. Joe and Appilachacola (sp.). Lots of dog friendly restaraunts.

Crazy construction

It was unfortunate that construction of the unit was being conducted throughout our entire stay. For 2,500.00 I would think I wouldn’t have to deal with that. Disappointing.

Wonderful stay along the beach

It is a wonderful property for the money. It is connected to the beach by a lovely boardwalk. We love that it was pet friendly. Our dog had a great time, as well. Our only concern was the tennis court. The court is mentioned in the online description, but the court was not playable. Huge cracks and sand and a ripped net. The condo itself was wonderful. Very clean. Nice view. It was perfect for a family getaway.

Vacation

Property was very good except shower head in master bathroom don't work. Also rotater for microwave was missing. And neighbors up stairs was loud and noisy during late afternoon till late night.

Family vacation

We loved pretty much everything. The only negatives was there was construction going On right outside our door and There was a foul sewer smell. We contacted the manager and he/we thought it was probably coming from the construction due to a pipe lift open the whole time. The smell was so bad we could not even be in the condo because we felt it would be unhealthy. The manager came and checked it out and I guess had them to stop construction and that took care of the problem of the smell. The rest of the vacation was wonderful. I wish we would’ve contacted him earlier!

Ladies Trip

The property was listed as ocean front and it was not. It was a side view of the ocean if you looked for the ocean. We got a text message we could check in early amd when we arrived we were told we had to wait till 4p.m. Our pets were welcomed and that was awesome. Location was perfect for getting around Saint Augustine. We all felt very safe in the location. What contact we had with the staff was positive. We would return to the condo just wish it had a ocean front view.

Terrible, never again.

My family stayed in Hibiscus. Terrible, never again! First, the AC broke for 2 days. There was no FRYING PAN!! Then 2 days before our vacation was over at 8 am in the morning constructions Workers woke ya up pulling the siding off the side of the condo. It was so ridiculously loud we packed up our things and left. What a waste of money and a vacation.

Property was rundown and dirty. Dust balls the size of a fist under beds and furniture

The overall unit was just ok. Dirty floors with dust balls and food under all the furniture . The patio is falling apart and and wood is rotting away. The closet near the door had everything thrown in it and housed nothing useful other then a broom. The mattresses and bed pillows need replaced and are the uncomfortable and noisy!!!
