Engulf yourself in this renovated 'Old Florida' Beachfront paradise vacation home, 'Caspia' of St. George Island located in the St. George Plantation. has it ALL with a private pool and hot tub, private & public boardwalk to the #1 award winning sugar white sand beaches, brand new outdoor kitchen with mini fridge, gas grill, outdoor TV, outdoor shower (hot/cold), toiletry area, phenomenal swing bed and screened deck! Offering 5 bedrooms and 4 baths with new modern coastal decor and lots of spaces to relax, you will certainly enjoy ISLAND LIFE!

Caspia being located just inside the gated community of the St. George Plantation allows guests access to multiple beach boardwalks, bicycle/walking/multi-use paths, nature trails, access to Bob Sikes Cut, fitness center, 2 Olympic sized swimming pools plus tennis and pickleball courts! Although in a secluded location, you are just 30 minutes by car to local restaurants, nightlife, St. George Lighthouse Museum and playground, fishing pier and State Park, historic Apalachicola's shops, restaurants and arts scene. Caspia truly delivers the best of the Forgotten Coast!

The first floor offers the majority of the sleeping quarters. Two primary bedrooms on the beach side of the property, 1 with king bed and the other with 2 queens, flat screen smart TVs, master bathrooms and deck access with comfortable seating and hammock. One king bedroom with a smart TV and 1 double over double bunk bedroom with a twin trundle, smart TV and DVD player. The shared hall bathroom located between the queen bedroom and bunk bedroom offers a double sink vanity. The stackable washer/dryer is located next to the shared hall bathroom.

The stairs take you up to our Grand Room, second (top) living floor that provides tons of open lounging and gaming space for you and your whole crew! Super comfy furniture throughout offers 360 degree spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico! Our final primary bedroom with king bed, smart TV and full bathroom with shower/tub combination is located on our second (top) living floor, just off our living room.

The fully stocked well equipped kitchen offers tons of counter space with 4 barstools, stainless appliances and stand alone icemaker. The dining table offers nearly 10 seats (2 benches & 2 chairs) along with additional table for gaming or eating that seats 4. The living area offers a smart TV, 2 large decks (1 screened and 1 open) overlooking the sugar white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico. The couches are both pull out queen sleeper sofas for MOVIE night! Sleeping a total of 15 guests and pet friendly for up to 2 fur babies, Caspia is perfect for your WHOLE crew!

The ground floor offers a super comfortable outdoor living space with an outdoor kitchen, comfortable seating, swing bed, outdoor TV, outdoor shower (hot/cold) & toiletry area. Private boardwalk to the beach OR public boardwalk to the beach. Just before the end of the private boardwalk, there is seating and a foot wash station.

The kitchen is among the most well stocked of any house we have ever rented on SGI (and we have been coming for 40 years). The living area is spacious and beautiful. It is an older house, so the bedrooms and baths are tiny, but that is to be expected and who goes to the beach to spend a lot of time there anyway? Great house, great experience, great staff! There is not much of a view, but a landscaping crew was scheduled to come on our last day (but was delayed by a storm) and that may fix that issue.

Sunrise and sunset were both visible from the house. We've also never stayed in a house as well stocked. Beach towels were provided. The kitchen had a huge variety of cookware and utensils and dishes, all in good shape. The only thing missing was basic spices - there wasn't even salt and pepper (that we could find), so be sure to pack your own. The outdoor space is really nice - a fire pit and an outdoor TV, although the weather was too hot for us to use anything but the pool. The bedrooms are small, especially the bunk one, but the view from the main living area was so nice that no one wanted to be in their room much anyway. Overall, one of the very nicest houses we've stayed at - we would definitely stay here again!

host was right on all questions -- very clean and everything worked -- well stocked kitchen --2 small negatives that could not be avoided -- 1. when people are upstairs, it is very loud in the downstairs bedrooms -- nothing could be done about it, just how the house was built. 2. no ocean view from downstairs bedrooms / patio. I assumed there was a view-- there was not. Overall great property, and great service by host -- we would stay again

Reviewer Comments: They have made improvements to this property since the last time we visited it, with indoor painting and additions to the ground floor. When we arrived and started unpacking groceries we noticed a rat trap on the floor of the pantry. Not a good sign. Early in our stay one evening we saw a mouse running around the living area. Some of our group were extremely upset about this. Property management was contacted the following morning and an exterminator arrived later in the afternoon. He investigated and found evidence of rodents on the upper floor (living area). He set traps and left. That same day we saw mice around the hot tub area and found a dead mouse in the ground floor restroom. These experiences did not promote a relaxing vacation.There were a few other issues noted. The elevator would allow you to open the door to an empty shaft. VERY dangerous. The door on the bathtub did not slide along the track properly.We prepared most of our meals in house and the kitchen was well stocked and easy to use.The hot tub was not maintained adequately. On our first use, the water was clear but the tub was full of sand. By day 5, the water was cloudy and it was still sandy.

Everything you need is right there. Beach access amazing, pool was great for kids at night. Hot tub and it’s raining? Perfection! St George is perfect when you truly want to be away. Keep this place a secret for sure! We had two families and it was perfect size to spread out! I paddle boarded with dolphins, we saw rays and turtles. Coffee and a sunrise walk is highly recommended! We will be back for sure!

2024 Family Beach Trip

The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook meals during our stay. The ocean view from the common room was wonderful. The beds were comfortable and we slept well each night. The pool is small but clean and a nice bonus to have. The elevator was a huge help.Our only suggestion is to double check the bathrooms during turn over. One was not in very good shape upon arrival. Not a deal breaker for us, we can manage a wipe down. Management was messaged an FYI.We travel to St. George frequently and would recommend staying with the Gulf Coast Properties. Great team.

Fantastic Vacation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Caspia. The house was amazing and perfect for our two large families staying together. The elevator was great for our mom. Main living area was large enough for our whole family to hang out in comfortably. Great spot!!

Beautiful home

This house was spectacular. And the outside is just as nice. The hot tub, outdoor shower, outside toilet, grill area and especially the screened porch were so nice to have. We had the beach to ourselves and perfect sunny weather. There were a couple of minor issues that came up and management was extremely quick to take care of it. Housekeeping can do a better job. Lots of hair still left on sinks and shower areas
