This is a very nice place, clean and in good shape. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and has two refrigerators. The elevator is very handy since the kitchen is on the top floor. Great location on the island with a short walk to the beach.

Family Beach Trip

House was beautiful, clean & spacious. Communication was great w owner. Pool & beach access was a huge plus. Appreciated the fact that the owner had beach chairs & other items available to renters. Multiple families stayed & had a great time!

Wonderful property, perfect location and great views.

The property is as described and showed in the photos, comfortable beds, well equipped, unbelievable views of the sea, etc. If you are looking for a peaceful vacation, this is the right place.

Great location & size

We loved the house for our family get-together over Thanksgiving. The vast indoor space, heated pool, and proximity to the beach was enjoyed by all nine of us. The house was outfitted with everything needed to make it a comfortable, functional home for a week, and the host was great to deal with. Hope to stay again.

We have been visiting St George for 30 plus years and this one of our favorites! Everything about this house and its offerings is accurate. We have an active family and all the little extras were a bonus. We had great timely communication from the owner who wanted feedback. The pool area was our favorite when we were not on the beach as it offered a combination of sun and shade. We will rent again!

The view was great. The pool was enjoyed by all. Lots of toys for adults. No problems at all. I opened a drawer one day and the front fell off. My son fixed it but it needs glue.The gas grill did not work great but the webber did so all was well.We would rent it again. Everyone enjoyed.

Well Stocked Home

This St George Island beach house with pool was great for our friends and family. Had ample room and was well stocked with supplies unlike other rental homes. There was lots of pool and beach toys and it was a shorter walk out to the beach than I thought.

Our week was wonderful and relaxing. The house was well equipped and the elevator was a godsend when moving in and out. Truly my only complaint would be to have check in earlier we have several toddlers and it made set up and dinner very late

Marvelous Vacation Spot

Fabulous place! It had all the amenities you would ever want and then some. Exactly as advertised. Enjoyed the family time, daily dolphin views, leatherback sea turtle visit, pool, location without the crowds….perfect place to unwind! Will definitely be back. Homeowner very attentive!

Lovely beach stay for a small family reunion

Our small family reunion (7 people total) had a great time at Pelican Watch. We enjoyed being so close to the beach and enjoyed frequent walks out to the sand. We enjoyed how quiet the beach and neighborhood was. Construction on a nearby house was minimally problematic. There was some noise due to the ongoing construction but it didn’t impact our stay too much. The house was comfortable and was as advertised. The house included a high chair and pack n play for our toddler. Overall, this is a nice house with a good location.

Ideal

Pelican watch was a great option for our extended family trip ages 28 to 87! The elevator was a lifesaver for grandma and Aunt and just getting settled with groceries and luggage. Enjoyed the pool and beach walking and especially the views. Thank you for having a well appointed kitchen and sharing your beautiful home with us.

The house was absolutely gorgeous. I love all of the brand new LVP floors. Many windows, lots of light, close to beach, lots of traffic areas for several family members to spread out! Very clean, and the property manager is very helpful to work with us when we had a personal issue!

Perfect even in evacuation!

What a beautiful island and home. Beds slept great! Everything inside home was open and airy. Didn’t let a mandatory evacuation stop us. Eddie, the homeowner, was absolutely amazing. Great help in getting us referred to the right people for refund. Prop Mgmt Co was great and attentive! Perfect beach home for seclusion and tranquility!

We had a wonderful stay at Pelican Watch. The indoor spaces and the outdoor spaces are just perfect! The views of the ocean from the house are amazing. We watched dolphins from the dining room table. The house is very clean and well kept and the furnishings were comfortable and very stylish. Plenty of room for a group.We came in February and it was chilly but I would love to visit again in the summer. The pool looks so amazing and the beach is sooo close! Perfect everything!

Relaxation

Our family of 8 had the most relaxing vacation at this beautiful home. We loved being able to just walk down to the beach everyday & there were plenty of chairs for all of us & even a wagon. The pool was nice in the evenings. We watched dolphins from the balcony every morning. The kitchen had everything we needed. We didn't leave the island the entire we week. We loved the local restaurants & shops. The home owner called before we checked in to make sure to answer any questions we may have. Will def. stay here again.

The perfect beach house

This beach house was perfect for our family of 12 (our 5 young grandkids, our 3 kids & spouses plus my husband & I). The bedrooms accommodated us nicely, the common areas were comfy and roomy and the kitchen (with 2 refrigerators) was great for pulling meals together for our big group. It was super convenient being steps from the beautiful and uncrowded beach and having a pool to hang out at when we needed a break from the beach. The house has so many extras (beach wagon, beach towels, sand chairs, sand toys, pool floats, and even a kayak and SUP for guest use). The owner and property manager were both easy to reach and answered a lot of questions for us in advance. We loved the laid-back vibe of St. George Island and surrounding area and had so much fun taking an airboat ride. This was definitely one of our favorite beach vacations.

The Perfect Spring Break

12 people + 1 house on the beach - hundreds of college coeds = the perfect Spring Break. The beaches of SGI are beautiful, flat, ideal for miles of strolling, only passing an occasional fisherman or vacationing family. The amenities of Pelican Watch were outstanding to include the heated pool, BBQ grill, beach chairs, private walkway to the beach, foot wash and outdoor shower, and a fully furnished house with an unobstructed view. Plenty of space, stocked kitchen, elevator, two decks, picnic table plus ping pong and corn hole games in the shade under the house. Enjoyed the local restaurants and ice cream shop to boot. Owner Eddy was attentive and quick to respond. Easy check in/out. Wish Spring Break lasted a month!

A family week at Pelican Watch

This property is a comfortable oasis where 11 members of our family, ages 4 to 72, shared rare, precious time together. Elevator for accessibility is essential for us. Access to the beach is direct and convenient. When they were not at the beach, the sun-soaked pool kept our brood engaged. Many TVs with varied streaming kept everyone entertained at night. The comfortable chairs and tables on the deck and its views of the Gulf are the images that replay in my head. The property managers resolved any minor issues quickly, and owner Eddie's advance and persistent contact were reassuring. Kitchen and dining facilities were easy. I actually prefer the east end of the island near the remote and quiet state park environment.
