Welcome to the River Sweet Cottage located along the banks of the AuSable River in the heart of downtown Oscoda, MI. Our newly renovated cozy 2bdrm, 1 bath cottage is just a short distance from the beautiful beaches of Lake Huron. The River Sweet Cottage is a fully equipped, and well-maintained home with all the amenities to provide a memorable vacation. Coastal inspired décor surrounds you inside and out at the River Sweet cottage. New furniture, mattresses, tv’s, heat/AC, bathroom linens and bedding all provided. The comfort extends to the large partially covered deck with new furnishings, a large gas fire table to snuggle up too on the cooler evenings, solar lighting, gas grill and a picnic table. Boat parking is available along the seawall. For strong swimmers snorkeling is amazing right outside the cottage. With crystal clear water you can usually spot a fish or two swimming around. Check out unique shops, delicious restaurants, ice cream shops, and the beautiful downtown beach all within walking distance of the River Sweet cottage. Grab a book, challenge each other at a board game, explore our trails and parks or go outside for some cornhole! Local and state Snowmobile/ATV trails accessible from home. Enjoy the river rippling by, catch some fish along the mighty AuSable River or take in a nice fire from the spacious yard along the river's edge.
